Pros: Just like internet security 2013 with a few extra features. Registry cleanup, and file cleanup.
Cons: I find the backup kinda useless, I can't figure out what to backup for everything is to large, plus I backup my stuff to Blu-ray.
Other Thoughts: I Picked up my copy for 20$, It was a shell shocker. Last year I picked up Internet Security 2012 for 55$ with a 55$ rebate, so it was free. If you wait for the rite time you can get Norton at a discount price.

Rating: 5/5Solid protection
Pros: * A solid infection prevention suite. * Transferable licenses using Norton Management. * The included Norton 360 Backup is the best backup software I've used for home/personal use. Multiple backup profiles, so that you can restrict that puny 2 GB Online backup to essentials while also doing automatic backups to a secondary drive. * Good Live Chat customer service on their website. See "Other Thoughts" * No issues with slowdown or crashes, and no infections since I transitioned to Windows 8 this past winter.
Cons: * I encountered glitches once or twice in the past few years revolving around the firewall management (for the most recent one, it would freeze unless I used an alternate menu to change a setting that was blocking Skype).
* REALLY darned expensive if you don't snag it on a major sale. Intermediate to experienced computer users would do just as well with free or less expensive solutions if they have the time to compare.
Other Thoughts: 1) So, I got this on a deep discount sale even though my prior subscription had around 70 days remaining, thinking that I'd just use the code to extend the subscription. Unfortunately, the interface in the Norton 360 client doesn't do that automatically with retail codes and registered the license as a whole new subscription for me. I decided to go to their customer support and see if they could fix it, and merge the two subscriptions. Not only did their live chat get to me right away on a weekday evening, it was resolved with only a few sentences. I was blown away by how quickly this was resolved, I don't think I've ever had a customer support issue be resolved to my expectations so quickly. It was fixed and verified in less time than what I'm usually put on hold for by other companies.
2) I also tend to suggest Norton 360 for my "high risk" clients (and ahem, maybe a parent, too): older adults without enough experience to tell the difference between malicious sites or fraudulent advertisements. It helps dramatically to make sure their browser's equipped with AdBlock Plus, too. I definitely saw an uptick with garbage and malicious installs since the proliferation of Facebook games, and these clients would wind up installing a bunch of so-called plugins and even "PC Maintenance" scam-ware - I advised they use Norton 360 and AdBlock Plus, and instruct to avoid FB games that require installing any plug-in they didn't have already. *Even if they trust the person who invited them!* It's been a pretty successful strategy so far.
3) Lastly; a couple years ago I used to regularly "find leftovers" with a popular, top-rated Anti-malware program, and nowadays it happens a lot less often. I don't even bother running it on my personal computers anymore because of how many times in a row it came up empty.
Bottom Line: Recommended if you can get it for 50% off or better. But nothing beats actually learning good security practices, and with Google and thousands of tech blogs, that's free.

Rating: 5/5Norton 360 is the BEST AV
Pros: This is honestly the only anti-virus I like and trust to do its job. It also comes with online backup, I never use it but some might find it handy. Also, this AV usually comes with a rebate every so often that makes it FREE!
Cons: In regards to the online backup, you only get a small amount of backup space and if you want more then you'll have to pay extra.
Other Thoughts: It's an AV, what more do you expect? Just know that from my use of many different AVs, Norton has the best track record.

Pros: For this sale: price. For the product: I've used Norton for years and have always been satisfied with its problem-free operation and the protection it provides.
Cons: The ad said Norton 360 2013. The box I received only identified the product as version 6, which has been on the market since early 2012 and is presently being replaced by the 2013 version 7.

Rating: 5/5Great program
Pros: Customizable firewall, antivirus, backup, and tuneup. You can change the level of detection/protection if you need to and if you have higher tech knowledge, but the default settings are good. I know for sure that my PC is better off with this added protection, because it has shown me in the corner some threats that it blocked/quarantined.
Cons: Works for a year, then you need to buy another key or upgrade to a different program.
Other Thoughts: Mail-in-rebate rocks (if still valid.)
