After you have purchased and paid for this product and load it, you have to contact customer support for codes for simple things like being able to use mpg's, digital sound needs a code, everything you purchased the product for needs a code! Then when Magix come's out with a new product, they have a date code so that your product that you paid for doesn't work! I Will Never again purchase a product by Magix. Oh ya, if I want to talk to customer support about the product, I have to pay them money, just to talk to them. Other Thoughts: BUYER BEWARE!!!! There is so much that they include in the pro version that I am overwhelmed! My biggest frustration is patience; my imagination is running in overdrive! I downloaded the demo project and played it. I had a hard time believing that this software, Movie Edit, could make something like that! I was seeing things I did not imagine could be done by the average computer user. This is an extremely powerful program that can give you very professional results if you take the time to explore it. If I was to start over, I would go to the ‘Tasks” on the menu bar. Everything is laid out for you. Every step of creating a professional looking video is there, all you have to do is follow the steps. There is so much included with this software (Pro version) that this is going to take a commitment from me, to learn. Cons: None Other Thoughts: About me: I am a middle aged former software developer (20 years) and currently work in the quality control department of a major biotech software company. I started using Magix products in 2004 when I was looking for software to transfer my record albums to my computer. I was so impressed at the quality, that I tried some of their multimedia products.
