Will this work through a surge suppressor / protector or UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) type device?

According to the manufacturer no, however, from my own experience I've been able to use powerline adapters through surge protectors and extensions cords, I'm not sure about UPS type devices though.  It may or may not work.

Is it mac compatible?

Yes it is mac compatible on the service side.

If you want to manage it, it is not mac compatible.

The only reason I can think of to manage it is using multiple Powerline units in a single "location".

We only have one pair and it works well on any properly wired outlet.

We had a single filure, when an av tech came in and plugged in a deliberately misfired (and patently illegal) power strip.

Question 3

Does this power supply support 220Volts?

While I have only used it on 120VAC, both the manual and the printing on each unit (transmitter and receiver) states 100 - 240 VAC power. You would probably need a plug adapter if your outlets are not standard US/Canada type. Hope this helps.
