does it have wire to connect to the modem? and I have dsl internet with this work?

The router comes with an Ethernet cable, which is the cable that connects from your modem to the router. And yes, this will work with DSL.

All you have to do is take the router out of the box, plug in the power cable, and then plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the modem, and the other end into the router.

After that you can use the default password and wireless name it comes with, or use the instructions in the box to set up your own.

Does Cox Internet works on this Wifi router? Do I need any other device along with this router?

This isn't a cable or DSL modem, simply a router.  So for most residential internet service in the US, you will need a modem as well.  For Cox, which is most likely providing you internet through cable, you will need a cable modem as well.

Cox may already be providing you one in your cable box.  If not, or if you'd like to stop renting theirs, I'd recommend a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem like the Motorola Surfboard SB6121 or newer.

I just purchased a Motorola SB 6141 modem a would like to get a good router to go with it. Any suggestions?

This wireless router only needs an ethernet connection from a modem to work. So as long as your modem has a ethernet connection then this will work.

A single router is not good for everyone because not everyone needs all the same features. More features =more money. Since you asked this question I doubt you are in need of anything besides the basic so unless you want to spend extra money on higher models with more features that you may never use,  I'd say this is router for you.
