Pros: Wireless N works great on my laptop. The xbox and wii are using G and run great. The hard line ports work great. The speeds seem a little slower than my previous linksys router, but I only see it doing speed tests. Performance on downloads, uploads and gaming are reliable and fast.
Cons: None

Rating: 4/5Be cool, be solid
Pros: Easy to install, easy to operate, dual band service. Has a 2nd WiFi "guest "network capability.
Cons: Set up can be tricky depending on how you do it.
Other Thoughts: I picked this up because it was a good deal and I needed to replace a d-link router that was starting to give me problems. When it was set up, I used the cisco set up software instead of following my gut and do it over the browser. The "guest" network was broadcasting it's SSID and unprotected. I then web browsered into it to turn it off. There was no way to do it though the browser and once I used the browser, the cisco quick connect software wouldn't recognise it anymore. I recently flashed the software and rebuilt my network after moving and have been able to keep the guest network secured. Another problem I had was overheating. The router would overheat and stop working. I ended up putting about 1/3rd of an inch of extra clearance under the router. It still runs a little to warm to the touch in my opinion but it has not stopped working since.
I use the guest network for devices my family uses that only need access to the internet while I use the main network for those devices that need access to the attached USB drive and network printer.

Rating: 4/5Great router
Pros: Well built, good signal strength. Dual band is nice. Set up wizard is easy to use.
Cons: Has some weird issues when connecting more than one Xbox 360 through the wireless. It will drop the second one connecting until you run the network test on the 360 itself. It will then drop the first one unless it is turned on and connected while you run the network test. I recommend running a cable to one if you have more than one 360 in your house. Also, if you need to adjust more than the basic settings you will have a hard time figuring out the user interface. One of my brothers has a bachelors degree in information technology and works as a network admin and it took him a bit to figure out how to change some of the advanced settings.
Other Thoughts: Updating the firmware might fix the problems with connecting more than one 360 at a time but I'm too lazy to do that. I might if I had assurance that it would fix the problem for sure. But even so with that and the difficult UI I can't give it 5 eggs. Still a great router well worth the price.

Rating: 5/5Surprisingly good range for internal antennas, DD-WRT capable
Pros: * Can flash with DD-WRT * With DD-WRT, unit is rock-solid * Compact design, no antennas to deal with * Good range * Very respectable speeds, both wired and wireless * Good wireless security
Cons: Possibly the stock firmware.
Other Thoughts: Right after receiving this, I flashed it with DD-WRT. Using that firmware, this hasn't given us a bit of trouble.
It handles the following simultaneously without much effort: VOIP traffic, Youtube uploading/viewing, NetFlix, up to 6 external users accessing Minecraft on a server connected through this using port forwarding, DDNS updates, email, web browsing and general uploads & downloads. It allows the full speed of my cable connection.
I wish this were still available, as it's a really nice unit.

Rating: 3/5Lousy Customer Service
Pros: Great router while it worked. Excellent connection wirelessly. Gigabit is really fast. Newegg is awesome, No complaints with Newegg. Only complaint is with Cisco.
Cons: Lousy customer service from Cisco. Contacted Liza with Cisco customer support. After reading from a script for over 30 minutes, she disconnect my support chat after I refused to tear apart my network to reconnect a faulty router. No warning. She didn't even give me time to copy my case number from the chat page, so I won't be able to reference it with any future problems.
Other Thoughts: Cisco is an awesome brand when they are working, but I pity you if you try to deal with their customer service.

Rating: 5/5Solid router.
Pros: Consistent connections. No drops. No heat problems. No grief. Used with DD-WRT for a solid solution. This is my choice router when I install wireless mesh for clients. I never have to go back for issues or support. The clients love this gear.
Cons: Even when I overclocked the onboard chips, I could not open a warp gate to the next dimension. Oh well, at least I got solid wireless coverage in my house.
