5 out of 5 eggsNIce

Pros: Very Good at grabbing and keeping signal never had any lag with the wifi yet.

Cons: Every now and then the wifi just goes off and i have to recconect. But this rarely happens.

Other Thoughts: I read reviews on overheating and i do admit it gets a tad Hot but that is not enough for me to drop an egg. For the price it is a steal.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great, cap falls off constantly

Pros: Has 5 GHz radio, good price, comes with USB extender so you have options to place it where the signal is best
Also, it is rather stylish in appearance if that matters to you.

Cons: The cap that comes with it falls off constantly. It is really rather irritating, but does not affect the function of the unit at all. There is no adjustable or upgradeable antenna on this unit.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because I needed one with a 5 GHz radio for testing purposes, and at the time of purchase, this was the cheapest option I could find. I have not used it a great deal, but when I have it has functioned flawlessly. You don't have to use the USB extension cable, but it is nice to have it if you need to try to find the best signal within a small radius.
I normally wouldn't go for a radio-frequency device without an upgradeable antenna, but if that is not a concern to you, then this should be fine. In this case, I didn't figure on using it much, so I went for it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking Great

Pros: Cheap, works, easy to install

Cons: Seems to get quite hot

Other Thoughts: I wasn't expecting much from this 10$ refurbished adapter, but it's worked perfectly for months. Kudos to Newegg and Linskys for providing such a great deal.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product Great Price

Pros: Fast dual band radio, supporting both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. Works great out of the box.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I would recommend Linsys products to most people, because I have been a long time user of their product (even after CISCO bought them out). I would also recommend getting the latest drivers to ensure the best reliability.

4 out of 5 eggswork ok

Pros: Decent performance. I stream a homerun HD TV signal to my Win 7 DVR without trouble on the 5ghz freq. recording two streams at one time on a regular basis. No complaints

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Avoid use with Linksys (Cisco) cloud connect junk, I have this adaptor attached to a cisco router ea-4500. Ever since the cloud connect update it has not worked as well

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well on my laptop, doesn't work on my Synology DS212j which is what I bought it for.

Cons: Listed as compatabile with the DS212j by Synology ...but... the remanufactured unit has a chipset that differs from what Synology tested. No RMA, Linksys won't replace, maybe I can find a use for it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Purchased refurbished at a STEAL, works great, reliable, connected to my 5ghz band easily and has not dropped the connection. Very satisfied.

Cons: The only con I can think of is the plastic is a bit thick on the usb extender to really be able to place it anywhere without the cord kinda lifting it up on one side. I am nitpicky.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product @ Great Price

Pros: Arrived quickly!!! (NewEgg rocks at shipping). Connects quickly. Haven't dropped a connection yet. Speed is decent from my MiFi to this device. Supports N!

Cons: Seems to heat up rather quickly but since I am not using the connection for extended amounts of time, it hasn't affected me. Not blazing fast by any stretch but gets the job done

Other Thoughts: Before buying this product I read many, many reviews on it and between this and the Cisco Linksys USB that is a "step up", this has FAR better reviews (I suggest doing your own review and choosing what suits your needs). Also, i have learned that the USB hub that comes with it can amplify the heat problem as it is made of plastic and retains the heat, instead of dissipating the heat as your comp case and fans would help to do. For the price this product is outstanding!
