1 out of 5 eggsUnstable

Pros: Small

Cons: You must install all their wifi management software to connect, not just the driver. I could not get to the internet using their software even though I was connected to the wifi router. I had more luck after disabling the dlink software and using the Microsoft network utilities to connect, but it still wasn't stable. Installed on windows 7, x64 pro.

Other Thoughts: The only driver available on dlinks site is for linux

4 out of 5 eggssmall and good

Pros: Small dongle , easy to set up ( whith D-link N router ) but range is average . It's better to use EDIMAX , for less money you get better performance.....

Cons: not really

1 out of 5 eggsCompletely useless

Pros: None

Cons: Did not detect any networks. There are plenty of networks in range of a real wireless adapter. Called technical support. Some guy asked me the name of the product and then asked me to to wait while he "checked something". He never got back. Avoid this worthless garbage at all costs. Avoid D-Link at all costs.

3 out of 5 eggslocation sensitive

Pros: small size. lot easier than the wirless card to install, but then I dont see any card adapters on sale these days

Cons: reception sensitive per location

Other Thoughts: When I first tarted to use this device, I inserted it into the backside of my desktop PC. the PC is located at my basement and the wirelss router is at the second floor. I was only getting three bars and the connection was dropped time to time. Then one day I reinserted the device to the front USB port. Boy did that make a difference. I am now getting the full signal and good speed. The minimal size must have made the anttena location very tricky.

1 out of 5 eggsvery inconsistent

Pros: small

Cons: frequently drop signal. seldom has full-strength signal. expensive given lack of performance.

Other Thoughts: I have this installed on a desktop and right next to it is a laptop with built-in wireless (both run on XP SP3). both are for kids' homework/use. the wireless router is only about 20 feet away through a couple of wood walls.

while the laptop rarely has problems with the signal this adapter is constantly dropping out or under-performing. I would look at other products, especially given the price.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've used 2 of these for different things. No problems what-so-ever. I've used USb adapters before, but they all had 1 problem or another. Not this one, never drops a signal, never slows down.

Cons: none.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks super great!

Pros: Small and easy to install. My daughters computer is on the other side of the house and she loves it.
She streams Hulu and Netflix with no problem

Cons: Horrible shipping from DHL/USPS. Nothing against Newegg! Nobody does it better than Newegg but Jeez Louise.

Other Thoughts: I know the shipping was free but c'mon guys!
This was the first one I've ordered for my customers and the first two went by DHL/USPS. Lousy tracking and waited longer than I should have .
The last one I ordered was shipped out UPS and man what a difference!!

2 out of 5 eggsNot support Wireless N Speed

Pros: Size.
Price.

Cons: Only provide 65Mbps with dlink N router.
When I tested again with another brand adapter, I got 300Mbps.
I am going to return.

1 out of 5 eggsNothing shy of FAIL

Pros: Low profile, convenient for laptop use. As always D-Link set-ups are simple and fast.

Cons: Complete garbage, inferior signal. Best used for email, internet, and very light downloading.

Other Thoughts: Better off buying DWA-140
