5 out of 5 eggsDecent cheap USB BT dongle

Pros: works on all current Windows OS (XP ,Vista, 7). Simple and easy to use. Seems to be fairly durable. Supports all the basic bluetooth features.

Cons: Hardly any, i am pleased with it as is.

Other Thoughts: I like that it doesn't have that super small form factor, that users usually complain that it can easily get lost or misplaced. Has a lanyard loop on the housing and a nice touch or having 2 LED status light indicators. Setup was easy either use the disk that is provided or you can get the drivers from Trendnet's website. My phone (palm Treo 680) was having problems connection to other phones or pcs but with this it connected with no hassles at all. Cheap, and it works.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Bluetooth adapter

Pros: Just plain works. Installed under Ubuntu Hardy, then Ubuntu Lucid with zero intervention on my part and just plain works for everyone. Piece of cake to sync devices.

Cons: None whatsoever

Other Thoughts: I have two of these and I'm about to order the third because I miss bluetooth at work. Trend makes some great stuff and this is just further proof of that.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap but not cheap

Pros: I've been using this for close to 2 years and it's my goto piece of hardware for connecting bluetooth devices to my computers, simply amazing and works in every win/lin i've used.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: Works sometimes, for some things

Cons: I bought this thing a long time ago to use with a bluetooth headset. It wouldn't pair with the device. It worked ok for awhile with XP and linux to share files with my phone. When I got WIN 7, I couldn't get the device to offer any services that worked after pairing with my phone. So I can pair with my phone, but I can't transfer any files.

Other Thoughts: I'm pretty disappointed with this adapter as it doesn't really do anything I want it to.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job!

Pros: Good transmitting range, no drop-outs. Just solid game play. Performs flawlessly.

Cons: The unit doesn't shut off when I shut down the PC, so it has to be removed manually.

Other Thoughts: I bought this adapter so I could use my PS3 dualshock controller via wireless bluetooth on my computer. For that application it works flawlessly running it on Windows 7. I give it 4 & 1/2 stars!

2 out of 5 eggsBad adapter

Pros: None yet

Cons: Windows and Linux both don't recognize the adapter, sometimes the OS doesn't see it at all, and Windows will tell me that it has malfunctioned. I've tried it on five different computers, all the same results. I hope that this is a faulty adapter. This blows

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Not much to say about this device. I bought it over 3 years ago when I was still on XP. Worked well. Moved bits about as slow as expected. I needed it to put media on my cell phone and that task was accomplished several times on several computers and several phones and several operating systems.

Cons: Doesn't kiss you goodnight.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: I bought this adapter specifically to pair a bluetooth headset to my PC. My Ubuntu setup detected it immediately and it paired my headset with ease. It's small enough that it doesn't get in the way and even has a little blue light that lets you know its getting power.

Cons: Absolutely none, it does exactly what its supposed to.
