Will this product work with any wifi source in my household?

It only works for wireless B and G. Many new wifi source are now N, but do have dual modes.

Will this work with any wifi source in my house?

Webcams work with or without internet, if all we're talking about is the actual functionality of recording audio/video, You do need an internet connection before you can use this with something like Skype or Facebook, but it won't matter which type of connection you're on (Plugged in to internet directly to the computer or on WIFI). Though if you are on Wifi and you've got a shaky connection, you may see performance problems during a video call.
