Pros: Easy installation. Windows XP Pro was able to immediately recognize and use the card. Signal is passing through about six walls and a floor with four bars on signal strength. Distance from router (Linksys WRT54GS) is about 100 ft.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The supplied drivers worked for me, although you should allow the built-in Windows app control the link. The Ralink supplied program works but not as well for me.

Pros: Easy to install, didn't even have to put the cd in..worked right off the bat...and my router is one floor down but still the connection wise super fast.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I didn't know Rosewill until now and i'm starting to love them. I also got a PS and a multi reader from them, both work great at a great price.

Pros: The price was right and it works better than the trendnet I had.... Which never worked right from day one. Installation was fine in my asus p5k epu mobo. It connected with my network pretty much right away. I like the networking utility/program that came with it. It does what it needs to do for the time being.

Cons: The two antennas that are on the device didn't screw on properly for me. They seem like they are slightly to big of the card itself. It looks stupid and I'm sure my connection would be a little better if they weren't just hanging there on my case pointing at the floor. My network connection is still weak to normal at best and I have some drop outs from time to time. I'm thinking it is likely due to the distance between my router (Netgear) and my pc.... Then again my Acer Aspire 5630 gets a better connection from the same location. It does the job it needs to for now I guess.

Other Thoughts: I'm currently running Vista 32. My network and sharing center is very glitchy and always has been and it causes my computer to crash from time to time. Additionally, my task bar still shows a little red x at all times indicating that I have no connection at all when I really actually do. After buying this new gadget I think I can safetly say that my motherboard is to blame for the madness. arrrrrg!
