3 out of 5 eggsOK BUT.....

Pros: Cost, good price. good deal , great antenna, Linux friendly, good reception...at first.

Cons: All was great until about two weeks into ownership, i started notice my speed dropping radically , tested other networks to make sure it wasn't just mine. decrease in speed and connection seen across all wireless networks.
Then i noticed this Wifi dongle RNX-N180UBE was getting VERY HOT.
VERY POOR HEAT DISPERSION ON THIS DEVICE.

Other Thoughts: I will try and take the plastic cover off and add a copper heat sink, but most likely the prolonged heat has already damaged it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little adapter :)

Pros: Small USB adapter
Easy installation
Simple setup start to finish
Great speeds
Inexpensive

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace another USB wifi adapter that kept flaking out on me randomly after 2 years. Plugged in, had it installed and running in about 5 minutes. Better speed and range overall, my old adapter was B/G/N capable but kept fluctuating between 36Mbps and 103Mbps - this one is solid at 144Mbps all the time, full bars, no issues :)

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Performance, Bad Reliability

Pros: Plug and Play with Windows 7 32 & 64 bit windows drivers. Easy setup and good speeds. Rock solid throughout it's life.

Cons: Quit working after 2.5 of 24hr use, started getting packet loss to router with no explanation. Tried different drivers, physical positions, usb ports, etc.

Other Thoughts: 2nd Rosewill product that has failed within 3 years (and outside warranty). It is a great product while it lasts, however I purchase on reliability and why I post this review.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Good

Pros: Great signal range even to a 54 Mbit G router.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was setting up an HTPC for a customer in their den. The router is in a back bedroom/office. I was getting 30KB/s downloads on a 6Mbps DSL line with a USB N150 adapter. After installing this Rosewill unit I was getting over 700KB/s downloads and video streaming was perfect. The signal strength is above 70% and the Link status is at 98-99%.

3 out of 5 eggsTitle

Pros: Works fine. Ish

Cons: The cd for the software only had the drivers in it I checked several times and read the entire manual. The manual says "drivers and software"(The picture in the manual) But when I installed it only said drivers. I noticed some stuttering occasionally during gaming and it could be due to not having the software but I am not sure. I am comparing it to my last wireless connector which did not stutter at all and had software for it.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad setup except for what I posted as the cons.

Cons: Keep losing connection... OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. I ended up breaking this thing in half and set it on fire. Worthless piece of junk

Other Thoughts: WORTHLESS. DONT BUY
