1 out of 5 eggsGarbage.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: This wireless adapter drops constantly. I've tried several different drivers and nothing can get this thing to stay connected. The best fix I found was smacking it against the wall a few times, then it'd connect but immediately lose internet access, disable then re-enable in Windows then it'd stay connected. Today it ended up connecting, then immediately became unrecognized. Smacking it around broke the hinge on the antenna. It's now going in the garbage.

Other Thoughts: I should have just crumpled up a $20 bill and threw it in the trash, it would have been less frustrating.

Rosewill, please do not reply to my review telling me to contact your support as you do with everyone else leaving negative feedback. You know very well this device doesn't work with Windows 7 64 bit yet you don't specify this anywhere and provide drivers in an attempt to create an illusion that it does. It's dishonest, and your troubleshooting steps to fix it are futile.

Along with other issues I've had with Rosewill products, won't ever buy another one as there are dozens of more options out there.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for Ubuntu Linux.

Pros: I tried several different Wireless N USB adapters until I found this one, the only one with very good signal strength and solid connection reliability under Ubuntu Linux 11. Other adapters would lose network connectivity during large file transfers, requiring me to reboot the system.

Also the drivers are built right into Linux, which is nice.

Cons: None really. The Rosewill brand is not well known? Maybe the USB cable included could be longer?

5 out of 5 eggsVery good reception

Pros: Probably the best reception the price paid for this unit can buy. Easy to install and seems to be also pretty sturdy

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Straight plug and play with Windows Vista, though the included disk was required to load the drivers. Better signal strength than the built in wireless on my Dell laptops. The corded USB base allows moving the antenna around if necessary to maximize reception. I don't know if it performs at the 300Mbps level, but it has no problem keeping up with my Linksys 54Mbps wireless router. The price is very good.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsAlmost useless.

Pros: .

Cons: Upon boot up it doesn't connect. It shows no available networks. Disabling it and re-enabling it works half the time, the other half I have to go across the room to unplug it, wait, then plug it back in. It does this initially and about every 30 minutes.

Other Thoughts: Two eggs instead of one because it works some of the time. When it does run it downloads data at my maximum internet speed from my ISP. I'm not putting this as a pro because that's what it should do, and since it only does it in short intervals it is definitely not a pro. I would not recommend buying this, be aware that far too many users find this to be an issue.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

And Rosewill, please don't reply to this with your pre-written apology and assurance of help because we all know you've given up on support for this product and have no real solution to the problem. Make some functional drivers instead of making people wipe their OS to find they have the same issue.

4 out of 5 eggs150 Mbps in most cases

Pros: Signal is very strong and reliable.

Cons: I can not go over 150 Mbps with mine.
Probably it can't because it has
RTL8191SU chip, not RTL8192SU

Other Thoughts: Rosewill and NewEgg, feel free to provide manual on getting 300 Mbps at least for receiving data.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: Plug and play, don't waste space in your case. Excellent signal.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong for the price. Much better than having antennae on the back of case interfering with reception
