Rosewill RNX-N150HG (RNWD-11004) IEEE 802.11b/g/n, USB 2.0, High Gain Wireless-N Adapter (1T1R) Up to 150Mbps Data Rates, 64/128-bit WEP, complies with WPA/WPA2 standard (TKIP/AES)

Pros: Works great easy setup and installation, but......

Cons: I ordered 2 and BOTH came with setup discs labelled as "Rosewill RNX-N150HG" software. Put them in and it came up as TP Link software. I thought maybe the two were compatible but sadly not. Had to go to Rosewill's site and download the correct drivers and utility. C'mon guys, one mistake OK, but two with the wrong software? It cost you an egg.

Other Thoughts: With the right drivers and software, they work great. Replaced my Rosewill RNX-G1W (which came with the correct software).

Pros: Easy installation. Just plugged it in on an usb socket on the back of my desktop's cpu. Went in the computer's properties found the network adapter and installed the driver. I have infinity and download times with this adapter are 29-32mb x sec / upload times 6-8 mb x sec. Compared to the dlink at 15-20 mb download and 3-4 upload.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I am happy I bought it.

Pros: was ok when working..set up seemed convoluted..why not just plug and play

Cons: several weeks in stopped working..set up was not simple as should have been..this is 2013

Other Thoughts: where is compensation for ones wasted time

Pros: This device has a powerful receiver. Right now I am connected to a public hotspot with a 2 out of 5 bar signal that the built-in wireless network adapter in my new laptop couldn't even detect. The connection seems solid without any apparent repeated disconnects/reconnects that others complained about. I had a horrible problem on my first attempt to install the drivers a couple weeks ago, but now Windows 8 (64-bit) recognizes the device on it's own and automatically installs the drivers.

Cons: No cons so far once the Windows 8 driver problem was eliminated. Time will tell if the current solid connection starts wavering as others have mentioned.

Other Thoughts: I wrote a previous review a couple weeks criticizing the inadequacy of the Win8 compatability for this device -- I gave 2 stars because my attempt to install Win8 64-bit drivers required a System Restore to repair. --To give Rosewill their due, since then they both responded to my criticism with an advisory comment (which I expected) AND (which I didn't expect) added the USB network adapter as a DEVICE AUTOMATICALLY RECOGNIZED by Windows 8. In my latest (second) attempt to install the network adapter, I just plugged it in and Windows 8 took care of the rest. I rate 4 stars (up from 2) rather than 5 stars only because this is my first day using the device.

Pros: I haven't owned this item yet

Cons: Purchased this item on Thursday April 4th. Newegg registered it for shipping the following day. Then it sat until Wednesday April 10th before it arrived at FedEx. It was supposed to be here between April 9th through the 12th. It won't be here until Monday April 15th at the earliest.

Other Thoughts: I appreciate a company like Newegg to offer products with reviews at low prices and rebates. When an item takes a couple days longer than the longest date posted something should be said to the customer to show they are not forgotten, a number etc...If I see an item on here and an item on another website, who has faster shipping, for a couple bucks more I'm going there, especially if the item is for a client.

Pros: Excellent coverage - consistent 5 full bars at 99% of the time. Cheap in price, not in quality.

Cons: You need to download the newest driver off of Rosewill's site prior to installation - do not use the supplied driver on the minidisc. Doing so will result in signal degradation.

Other Thoughts: The con isn't a con if you're experienced with wifi. As a general rule of thumb, always get the newest drivers onto a thumb drive prior to installing your new wifi adapter. This is why I did not knock any eggs.

Pros: the signal is just insane and always reliable, other dongles are a bit useless, this hi-gain dongle does a good job!

Cons: wish i bought 4

Other Thoughts: very good gongle.

Pros: Fast internet connection, USB format is great.

Cons: Not quite plug and play, do need to install a driver if your computer does not already have internet connection

Pros: Came with a free cradle

Cons: Loses and re-establishes connection every 30-60 seconds

Other Thoughts: Windows 8 (No drivers on CD)

Other Thoughts: It was a simple install. I loaded the provided drivers only and not the additional software. Also I had to reboot the XP machine for it to actually connect to the internet.

This was a replacement for a defective Rosewill adapter. And I must say that one phone call and Rosewill replaced the adapter quickly and without any fuss. Outstanding support from this manufacturer.
