5 out of 5 eggsWorks excellent for me

Pros: The only time I lost internet was from the ICP. It's does what it suppose to do. I have it set up to a wireless laptop, wired Ethernet RJ45X, HP wireless printer, and even (HP eprint). To my astonishment everything that I throw at this router it works.

Cons: not the best wireless distance

Other Thoughts: If I would have read all your negative reviews I guess I would have not bought this router. I guess it's the luck of the draw from the factory that built them. Probably an irate worker (LOW PAY) syndrome etc. You have to know how to go into you router and set it up via (192.168.2.1)

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible support

Pros: Cheap

Cons: not user friendly, terrible support

Other Thoughts: i purchased this product and pulled it straight out of the box. for setup, all that is provided is 2 cards with pictures on them and the CD installation disk. the cards are simple enough to follow, but the CD didn't pull up correctly so i had to follow a different direction. even after following the few instructions on the CD cover, the disk still didn't work properly. i was able to use a different device to google instructions to get everything setup. i was able to get a LAN connection setup but the wireless would not work. after working on getting my wireless network set up for over an hour, i finally broke down and called support to which they responded saying i needed to pay $40 for phone support. in response, i'm returning the product since they obviously don't believe in their product enough to where they provided good support. Terrible experience, will not purchase Belkin again.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Hasn't burned the house down.. yet.

Cons: Didn't come with instructions, has an extremely short range and continuously drops signal. Customer service was completely rude and worthless.

Other Thoughts: My mom picked this up because she needed something cheap just so she could cruise the web. I know you get what you pay for blah blah but she's not gaming or running 10 devices so she figured this would work. It didn't come with instructions and she isn't tech savy so she called the help line and was told that they wouldn't help her with such an old device, but if she went out and purchased the $80 one they would help her. She was irate, but I came over and helped her get it set up only to find out it dropped out every 30 minutes and had garbage signal if she wasn't standing next to it. Needless to say, I had her return this piece of junk and bought her a Linksys.

1 out of 5 eggsCOMPLETE GARBAGE!!!

Pros: Nothing what so ever!

Cons: Everything! It simply doesn't work at all! None of my electronics connect to it! Neither my iphone 4, PS3, nor my computer! My goodness what a garbage router! Stay away from this please!

Other Thoughts: Going to go smash it with a bat after i finish writing the review!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Absolutely nothing

Cons: Throughput on the lan drops to nothing after about half an hour, necessitating reboot. Wan range is only about twenty feet, if there are no walls in the way, same problems as the lan has too.
Bittorrent? Forget it. won't happen: speed on linux distros drops to 5 Kb/s after three minutes; straight off the modem, it stays around 1-1.5 Mb/s. This thing is ridiculous.

Other Thoughts: Spend some extra money and get a better one, preferably with an external antenna, might as well get one that does 802.11n since that's all that's coming out now-a-days.

1 out of 5 eggsBad router

Pros: Good feature set for dirt cheap.

Cons: The wireless connection barely works. After adding another computer to my network with a newer 802.11b/g/n adapter in it, and combining that with moving to an apartment where the walls were a bit thicker; This router lost wireless connection to all devices at least once a day if not more. I even tried dropping the security down to WPA1; it didn't help. It became quite an annoyance to always have to restart the router or reconnect from the other devices.

Other Thoughts: I had actually reviewed this router before and said that it was great, but apparently there's a timer in it that goes off and turns it into junk after a few months. You get what you pay for. I got a new router and will probably just throw this one away. I wouldn't even wish to harm someone by selling it to them.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute junk. Please avoid this router.

Pros: None that I can think of.

Cons: I can't go more than an hour without losing my internet connection. Sometimes its more often than that. Also, I have a Tivo Premiere plugged into this thing and it loses its connection a few times per week.

I just bought a new router and I think this Belkin piece of junk is going to get smashed Office Space-style.

1 out of 5 eggsNever Again

Pros: Worked for about two months.

Cons: I have purchased three of these routers throughout 2010 for friends and EACH ONE OF THEM has failed after a couple of months. The most common problem seems to be the wireless not working. I tried resetting, unplugging, reflashing, etc. but to no avail.

Other Thoughts: I am never buying another freaking Belkin product again. These are such poor quality routers.

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible Product

Pros: Cheap. Only bought it because a better router wasn't available at my local store and I needed it quickly.

Cons: Horrible product. Constantly disconnects and requires me to reset to factory default settings in order to connect to wireless. Some devices have trouble connecting at all (PS3, etc). If I'm playing a game and someone else hops on wifi, every time they load a page the game studders horribly. Replaced this with a linksys router and all the problems went away instantly.

Other Thoughts: Belkin has a reputation for shoddy products. Will not buy again.
