we will have two machines to protect behind this device. will that work? can we protect more machines if we just purchase a switch such as cisco SG 100d-08

No problem with two machines. I have a 16 port switch off of mine along with two wireless. I am running 5 computers 4 iphones, 2 ipads, and 2 Xboxes without any issues.

The totalsecure refers to all the services above and beyond the firewall. Content filtering, anti-virus, anti-malware, intrusion protection and tech support. It is the best value.

Does this include support from Sonicwall? or is that separate?

It includes 1 year of support and content filtering from Sonicwall. After that you can purchase 1, 2, or 3 year support and filtering bundles. Firewall works great, the downside is that the 3 year support bundles cost almost as much as the firewall.

Does this include both the hardware (the router/firewall) and the 1-year license for the TotalSecure?

Yes, the hardware and 1-year license is included. After the one year is up you can purchase a 1-year, 2-year or 3-year subscription.

I have a client that has a tz-215 & wants to setup a VPN. What else do I need besides your tz-105 listed here?

You don't need another appliance to access a firewall/VPN. Each unit comes with a minimum of 1 remote access license that can be used with a laptop/desktop. If you want to VPN and connect two networks, you require two appliances.
