1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't support 64 bit Win7

Pros: Small size.

Cons: I purchased this so I could use my Bluetooth headphones on my work PC. Unfortunately, installation of the supplied driver fails on my Windows 7 64 bit system. When I pair the headphones, it only installs one of the 4 profiles and the headphone do not work. I have gotten a response from support, but they have been slow to respond and they are now waiting for an update from the company who provides their driver. Who knows how long that will take. I've also found that finding information on their website about this product is difficult to find. Have they already abandoned it?

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for Dolphin!

Pros: I purchased two of these and they both worked FLAWLESSLY for the Gamecube/Wii emulator "Dolphin," one plugged into my Windows 7 64-bit gaming desktop and one in my Mythbuntu 12.10 amd64 home theater PC.

+ It's cheap and doesn't take up much space!
+ Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR for less than $5 more than products without these features
+ Pairing Wiimotes with Dolphin is even easier than pairing them with my Wii!

Cons: ...it wasn't free? :V

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, after spending a full day ripping my copy of Wind Waker, backing up my memory card, and setting up Dolphin and my Gamecube-USB adapter on my HTPC, I found that it only runs the game at ~70% speed. It does run full-speed on my desktop, but the purpose of this project was to get a better-looking picture on the 40-something inch screen with 5.1 surround sound for this game, not on the 21" screen with low-grade 2.1 speakers.
Oh well, though! It won't kill me to have a less-than-optimal picture for the game plus I'm out less than $30 for each one. Additionally, I've helped future-proof two of my computers for any devices that can connect via Bluetooth!

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY!!!

Pros: Someone is making money by selling garbage

Cons: Does not work. I bought it for work so I can connect my Wacom tablet through Bluetooth. After wasting 40 minutes of my work day trying to connect I get less than 5 minutes connection until it drops and then I cannot reconnect again. Not very productive for any environment. Using latest drivers. The actual driver that came with this device actually made things much worse.

Other Thoughts: Thank you newegg for fast shipping. Please stop selling devices that should be in the trash in the first place.

P.S. - Please allow zero eggs for rating as well.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with everything

Pros: Small, cheap

Cons: Does not work with my "MEElectronics Air Fi Runaway Bluetooth headphones". I've verified that the headphones work perfectly with an Android phone and tablet, but they will not pair properly with this adapter in Windows 7 using the default drivers or the CSR drivers. I bought this adapter to use with these headphones.

I've contacted their customer support but haven't gotten any response in over a week.

Other Thoughts: From the comments this adapter seems to work with some devices but it doesn't work at all with my headphones in Windows 7.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Deal

Pros: Plugged it in and that's it. Works great for all my Bluetooth connections to my PC. No software to download or any set up at all. Was cheap. Got this to use with Microsoft wireless kb(kb didn't come with a bt transmitter dongle)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Buy it. It's nice.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat but breaks Win8 Metro UI

Pros: 1. Small
2. Efficient
3. Software is good

Cons: 1. See Below

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately using Windows 8 and the drivers from the website breaks the Metro UI interface. If you try reboot into advanced startup you get an error and the system ignores your request. It has to do with the blutooth stack interfering with Windows 8. I'm unsure why Metro UI is suck garbage but it definitely is messed up by the drivers. Maybe not a real issue until you want to do an advanced startup or install drivers without a signature like me :X

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: I worked, I installed it, installed the software that it came with and I can connect blue tooth devices to my computer.

Cons: I has a blinking blue light, blue is among the more annoying colors to have a blinking light of because of the brightness.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Bluetooth

Pros: Works great after a short installation (product includes a small DVD with the software) and a reboot. I can play music through my speakers.

Cons: Not really a con, but the drivers that Windows 7 automatically downloads are not the greatest thing - they couldn't play audio through my speakers with Bluetooth. But, the drivers that came with the product worked perfectly fine.

Other Thoughts: I have not tested the limits of this item, nor do I have experience with Bluetooth products, but I am very happy with my purchase!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Only $12. Nano USB. Works flawlessly with Windows 8 and my new Supertooth Disco 2. Paired flawlessly with MS Laser Mouse 8000. Bluetooth 4.0 with apt-X codec support. Great with Netflix on PC. Works great with Phone, but will get even better when I get a phone that supports apt-X.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Works out of the box with Windows 8 and the default Bluetooth Stack but you should install the included CSR Bluetooth stack as it supports the apt-X audio codec.
