1 out of 5 eggsHorrible.

Pros: Firewall works great, excellent feature-set, will download >1.7MB/s sustained for hours on end.

Cons: Upload performance. I can hard-lock the router at will simply by attempting to upload at a speed greater than 46KB/s for any duration longer than 10 minutes. After these 2 conditions are met, the router locks up and requires a power-cycling to get working again, obviously this shouldn't happen on somthing with "Enterprise" in the name of the product.

Other Thoughts: In about 10 days I will have owned this product for a year, so I've held off on the bad review for some time, trying to find any real redeeming...anything about the router, sadly I can't think of anything that makes this router worth it's price to me, what with broadband speeds getting higher and higher, this router can no longer function at the speeds offered by a simple home cable line.

5 out of 5 eggsFrom a technical aspect

Pros: While the 6 routers we are using weren't purchased from NewEgg, we have had these in service for the better part of six years in various applications. Two are used for point-to-point VPN connectivity between offices, two are used as firewalls for web servers, and two are used as VPN servers for business clients. They have all performed great, and only had to replace one due to a lightning strike, not a factory defect.

Cons: The only real item I would point out is the interface for new users. These days, the standard user is acclimated to more of an html interface for home router usage.

Other Thoughts: If there is an issue with one, chances are it was bad out of the box, which is not typical for this product. Also, make sure you are running the latest firmware, since that can also clear an issue you have. These really aren't designed for the day-to-day user, but for those with more experience using a console style interface.

Pros: Had the router for a little over a month, work fine up until then. Nice fast shipping

Cons: We have several of these VPN routers, one of them died and we purchased this one to replace it. After a little over 1 month the router lost connectivity. Tried to reset the router factory specs, then the network connection continiously reset every several seconds.
