5 out of 5 eggsUpdate to previous review.

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: Small and fast. This probably doesn't make sense but in my previous review, I couldn't get the Nano working stable, but I changed the security settings from TPIK to AES and now it's working perfectly after an entire year of not being able to use the little guy.

Cons: None since I finally got it working stable and reliable.

Other Thoughts: Please disregard my previous review. I tried to edit but was unable to do so.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect For Me

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: I needed a router for work and didn't want to spend a lot, plus space was pretty limited. I'm very pleased with my purchase so far. I'm amazed at all the different things you can actually do with this device, so I'm getting ready to order another one!

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Incredibly tiny and easy to set up, plus it works flawlessly for me.

1 out of 5 eggsUnreliable.

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: .Small, stylish, and thoughtful but it just doesn't hold a stable connection.

Cons: Firmware needs to be updated with DD-WRT or at least firmware that works. Unable to get a stable WiFi signal over 50 feet. Signal is unstable. Even when a strong signal is established, my laptop freezes so much that I can't even use it. While connected to other internet sources, my laptop works perfectly.

Other Thoughts: I'm finally posting a review after more than a year. I tried and tried to get this little router to work on my home network and also to access the internet at work. I didn't leave a review before now because I tried at least 10 times to get the little router running stable over the past year. After more than 13 hours, I am giving up... It's not even worth it to waste time. Go ahead and get a different nano router and save yourself the trouble. I believe that other users have had success with this model, but in my case, I tried EVERYTHING.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Router!

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: I use this as a temporary access point into my network for working on laptops (and testing the wifi on them). I do not have to access my main wifi link or my guest link..... when I want to test, I just plug it in and when I am finished, unplug it. No more possibilities of someone accessing my network or milking the internet. Unplug and done!
GREAT RANGE!

Cons: Looks like a birth control pill box?

NONE!

Other Thoughts: I am going to get a couple more.... several friends and customers have bought these upon my recommendation.... these are really cool!

4 out of 5 eggsNano is right

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: Amazingly small. Great signal for laptops and desktops. Multifunction. Not just a router. Low power consumption. Great design.

Cons: only one Ethernet port. Not as great signal strength for mobile devices. I had 5 bars with my macbook pro, through 3 walls and about 60 ft away, but my galaxy note (phone) had a only 1 bar and was reporting an unstable connection.

Other Thoughts: This is an amazing travel router but bare in mind you will only have one Ethernet port. Either you are connecting that to your modem or you are connecting it to a computer or device. I didn't expect 4 ports and 1 uplink but at least 1 down and 1 up would have made this much more versatile. As it stands it it's like a multitool for connectivity with a pocket size. Still amazing and worth getting.

5 out of 5 eggsA must for travellers

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: Small. Versatile.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I use this for travelling outside the US.Most hotels outside the US don't offer wifi. I use this to setup wifi so I can make free wifi calls on my T-Mobile android phone. This router also has a repeater mode, which allows to boost the wifi signal in case my room doesn't get a strong enough signal to make calls. It's been a huge money saver.

I have this coupled with a 4port USB power adapter so I only have to use 1 voltage converter to power this router, my cellphone, and my tablet.

5 out of 5 eggsA MUST HAVE!!

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: If you own a Surface Pro or other device with a picky Wi-Fi transceiver this little guy is a breath of fresh air. Plenty fast enough to game or stream 1080p video and has an impressive reach distance for its size. I will by a second and third one just for how impressed I am with it!

Cons: the only con i have for this is the Cat.5 UTP Flat cable, its a bit too short to use for low wall connections and still put it on a table. Its also susceptible to degradation if near a lot of ac power.
But Seriously who cares! This thing is awesome!

5 out of 5 eggsReally great with multiple functions

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Travel Router, Nano Size, Multifunction, 150Mbps

Pros: This little thing is great! It's useful in pretty much every networking environment you can think of. Currently using it in Client mode.

Cons: Fairly annoying to switch between functions. There really should be a multiple way hardware switch to move between functions.
