2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: none really.

Cons: Bad, it's the same as those mini antennas that are the size of your finger. Not worth the money. I loose wifi signals with this.

It's better to buy those 21" or larger antennas..

I gave it two cause one seemed kind of mean.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks As Described

Pros: Gives my wireless card a little more range than antenna that came with the card. For some reason the antenna that came with the card only gave me 2 to 3 bars max.

Works for what it's worth

The Magnet is a nice touch

Cons: kinda big

5 out of 5 eggsWOW, what an increase in EVERYTHING

Pros: A must for anyone with a DUAL-BAND router with removable external antennas. Stock antennas usually max out at +2dbi and you're lucky to see that in real life. I would say the number of WIFI hotspots that showed up after switching out the stock ones doubled. Also you don't have to use the provided base, it will screw directly into your router. One a very positive side note: Newegg had this on my doorstep less than 24 hours after I placed the order and that was with the ground based free shipping option. You guys rock!

Cons: A bit on the bulky side and they could of done a better job with the mounting base as the SMA adapter loosened and eventually broke loose on the mount inside of a few months of ownership. But plugged directly into the router quickly fixed that issue. I think the fact of it being bulky and fairly heavy for a standard router antenna may have attributed to this occurrence.

Other Thoughts: Stock MSRP was pretty high when it debuted. I think it was roughly $25 or $30. Well with the frequent email only promotions from Newegg, this went on sale for nearly 50% less than the MSRP at that time. What a legal steal!

5 out of 5 eggsJust What the Dr. Ordered

Pros: Raised my signal strength from 24mps to a strong 54mps, almost as good as the hard wired connection.

Cons: Only has a 3 food cord, 6 foot would have been better.

Other Thoughts: Works very well, highly recommended. . .

3 out of 5 eggsImproves range a little

Pros: There is an improvement of signal strength.

Cons: Just not as much as I would like.

Other Thoughts: It improves the signal strength of my wireless network, but not as much as I'd like. The signal is still not quite strong enough for a reliable connection.

5 out of 5 eggsGood signal boost

Pros: Good Signal boost about a 20 pct gain over my previous card.

Cons: Cable is a bit shorter then I would have liked which makes placement a little more limited.
