No, it will improve your wifi around your router, and making your cell get better wifi signals at home or office. But as for cell phone services it does not help boost there signal, that is based on like location of towers of you server provider. Hope this helps

will this work with a netgear 600 router?

I could not get mine to work with my Netgear WNR 1000/Wireless-N 150 router. It won't fit to screw on in the back. I got tired of fooling with it...still in the box. I should have returned it, but I'm bad about stuff like that. No, it won't work with the Netgear router I listed. Other Netgear, I don't know.
