5 out of 5 eggsSolid construction and stable

Pros: Solid construction and stable

Cons: none so far (installed 2 months ago)

Other Thoughts: I have bought this PoE injector to power a Zyxel NWA1123-AC AP up and so far everything is stable at the other end of the +/- 60 ft ethernet cable.

4 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: Cheap to buy. Solid Construction. Works as Designed.

Cons: Slightly Larger and Heavier than other PoE Injectors on the market.

Other Thoughts: I usually use Motorola PoE Injectors for WiFi Access Points, but I found Rosewill's to be cheaper to purchase. Though, for the price, this PoE injector is a slightly larger and heavier Injector than my Motorolas. All work the same though.

4 out of 5 eggsBulky but reliable

Pros: Supports GbE networking as well as PoE+ (802.3at specs). Takes a standard PC power cable (IEC C14)

Cons: On the bulky side, though the build quality kind of makes up for it.

Other Thoughts: We have a handful of these for some outlying areas where we need only one or two PoE ports (usually for one or two wireless AP at each site) and a full PoE switch for that purpose just costs too much (we haven't moved to hosting our own VoIP phones, either where a PoE switch makes a lot more sense). These injectors were put in about 2 years ago and are still running without any problems. We simply mount them to the 2-post rack using 2-inch wide velcro strips. I just purchased one for personal use at my home for similar purpose - a single PoE port for a wireless AP.

3 out of 5 eggsRosewill RNWA-PoE-1000

Pros: Good price and very well built. The metal case is excellent.

Cons: I honestly thought these things were pretty much foolproof but not so much. I bought the RNWA to power a ZyXel access point. When I did, the AP's web server was very slow and upload speeds were horrible. I blamed the ZyXel until I tried a PoE Switch and it's own wall wart power supply. The ZyXel worked fine. It also worked fine with a Trendnet PoE injector. But then the Rosewill worked ok with another type of AP. I don't think there is anything wrong with the Rosewill but it seems like this equipment is not as plug and play as I had thought.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Value

Pros: Price

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have purchased many Zyxel POE12HP Injectors and actually came to Newegg to buy a couple more but after seeing they were not sold by Newegg directly (just 'marketplace' vendors that I avoid) I then came across this Rosewill POE. It looked identical to the Zyxel and at $25 shipped was $15 less than the Zyxel so gave it a chance. Once in my hand and side by side with the Zyxel product I am hard pressed to see any difference. Even the capacitors on the inside are the same colors. The performance is identical as well. I do not know but I suspect that Zyxel warranty and support are better than Rosewill as Zyxel is really second to none, but at just $25 I would sooner just buy another than waste time on the phone with getting a warranty replacement anyway.
