Gets it done
- Pros: Runs guild wars, vista, and linux. Even with just a gig of memory, this laptop can do what most desktops can, other than running top-of-the-line games. Enough power and hard drive space for a college laptop.
- Cons: can't play oblivion with this integrated graphics card.
- Other Thoughts: Currently running xubuntu 8.04 with only 1 error (the login screen is not wide screen), but I can bear with this.
No Xp Drivers
- Pros: None
- Cons: Way disappointed, sent a unit with bad hardrive, loud dvd burner. no support for xp drivers from gateway, none to be found on the internet. Basically bummed out. Did i mention the loud fan that is almost always on. In my opinion it is junk and i am stuck with a $560 piece of gateway
- Other Thoughts: Avoid at all costs buying something you can return

but now people like me who lives in new york state are being charged sales tax. and it is killing slowly inside. over the years newegg.com saves me hunderds in taxs now............not really a con but....
