Pros: I liked the laptop. It typed well. I never was on the internet with it or used it for anything other than word processing, but I liked the machine.
Cons: Keyboard was a little cramped due to the 14 inch laptop. I had to send this back as there was a big problem in the system regarding word processing. The cursor would jump all over the place, highlight text, and then delete whole pages of text. I put a different word processing program on, and it did the same; so this isn't a software issue. Thoshiba told me that they had seen this before and said to hook it up online and download new drivers, which I did, but it still was defective.

Toshiba is a bad company

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Had this notebook for ten months, and then the LCD started leaking internally, leading to a huge streak down the screen. It was under warranty, sent it in and Toshiba said that it was a technical defect, but they wouldn't cover it anyway, and charged me 25 bucks to do so.
Toshiba is a terrible company, low build quality and NO customer service. Will never buy another Toshiba product as long as I live. Avoid.

Pros: perfect size for a 'laptop' not too big and not a netbook eye strainer good key board, screen, and feel. runs very cool on my lap. my last gateway would make me sweat.
Cons: not much buyers remorse here.
Other Thoughts: I know it was under 500 so i recieved what i payed for but in wishfull thinking 4gb of ram a web cam and most of all a back button close to the mouse pad
