Pros: This laptop, at least for the price range, has very good specs, not to mention a very solid keyboard.

Cons: Other than the top being smudged easily, there are no major design flaws with this laptop. The speakers could be a little louder, however.

Pros: Great Laptop. Built well, looks nice, performs great for a laptop in this price range. Can't complain in the least.

Cons: Minor things: Speakers aren't very loud, fingerprint magnet as every review will say, and no backlit keypad.

Other Thoughts: For it's price, I can't find anything near it with the graphics card/CPU combo. Yeah, the memory isn't the fastest and the hard drive isn't the biggest, but those are minor issues compared to what I mentioned before. Plays Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2 without any issues on high, very nice for a $800 laptop. Looks nicer than any other laptop I've ever had (mostly dells, sue me it was before I knew better), and seems to be a quality product. Would do business with and refer others to.

Pros: The Specifications on this Laptop are Great!!!
I Have Had pretty good experience in the Past with Acer Laptops.

Cons: The Right Click Button on the Touch Pad was not working
from the start. At times it would just freeze up for a few seconds before I could even use a USB mouse or the Touch Pad. Video card is a pretty good one but over all this laptop does not work right and not put together well. I tried updating all Drivers to try and bring stability to this system but it would just freeze up for a bit every so often and the touch pad is a pain and not what you are willing to settle for when you fork out 900 bucks. No second chances on this one. Too Many bad reviews. I am not looking to get lucky with a good one and for how long. New Egg should just send these back to Acer!

Pros: I bought this laptop from another site.But this is the same thing and guys believe me its the best laptop you would ever get in this price.I want to say something about the review of Best Laptop Ever.Its true what you said.I bought the same laptop from dell but mine was dell studio.They were such liars and the laptop sucked totally.It gets hot in an hour if you play dirt 2 in that whereas in this laptop you could play dirt 2 WITH HIGH GRAPHICS SETTINGS for three hours without the laptop being hot.Guys you should buy it.That laptop was $782 total with taxes and stuff but this one is $817 and the graphics card for this one is a lot better than that one.I regret buying that.Awesome speed,nothing lags at all even after using it roughly.Obviously buy this laptop.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: I bought this laptop as a replacement for an aging 4 year old laptop. I really only use it at work where I have a lot of free time, and was tired of not being able to play any 'real' games. This thing can handle GTA IV at medium-high settings and get 25FPS, runs DiRT 2 at 30FPS on Ultra, and that's really all that I have had time to put on here!

If you are on the fence with buying this, I suggest you go for it! It's a great investment, and will handle a lot of the more demanding games these days. I haven't really tested out battery life, since I keep it plugged in all the time.

Cons: Glossy blue lid is very pretty to look at, but I am so afraid of scratching it; It was bigger than my old laptop, and I hadn't figured that into the equation, so I had to buy a new bag to carry it around; definitely not the most portable machine; it's best as a desktop replacement, or ''boring job time filler" machine, and not an "I'll just carry this thing down to Starbucks!"

Pros: Everything is awesome about this laptop.I bought another laptop like some weeks ago and it was dell xps and had almost the same specifications.But the graphics card for this is a million times better than that.And also that laptop gets heat up pretty soon if you play simple games like dirt 2, MW2,etc. Now I regret that I shouldn't have bought that laptop.Excellent price and everything.Still runs fast even after using it roughly.

Cons: Nothing at all.I want to state something about other people.Some said about the battery life for it.Guys,its way better than the dell.That laptop has 6 cell battery too and it the battery gets out in only 1 and half hour.I tell you what its a lot better than anything you would buy.

Other Thoughts: Just awesome.I would say if you want to buy a laptop and wants to get a good graphics card,runs fast,etc.BUY THIS.

Pros: Decent price for its features.

Cons: After a month of gentle use, the laptop started emitting a very high pitch, constant noise that is unbelievably annoying. Muting the speakers does not help, and it seems the sound may come from an electronic component rather than a mechanical one like a fan.

It is irritating to stay in the same room with this computer.

Cons: wish for longer battery---9 cells

Pros: - good combination of the components with it's new mid range processor, screen, graphic card and hdd (i5, 1600x900 LED, radeon 5650 and 5400rpm)
- great spec, performance and price ratio

Cons: - doesn't have express card slot (the reason for 4 egg), apparently this apply to most of acer aspire unit
- and no screen lid

Other Thoughts: - not really cons since it's all the same with all vendor, it came with many junkware, out of the box there are 82 process running XD
- only blue color??? duh.... i want it black =3

Pros: + Great price for the specs. Really unbeatable. (a comparably equipped MacBook Pro is $2300)
+ The addition of a capable graphics card is nice for a notebook of this price. (I've been playing SC2Beta at respectable settings, though less than my desktop)
+ Keyboard feels nice. Number pad.
+ Reasonably light compared to other laptops I've felt.
+ Large screen a plus if super portability isn't an issue
+ I've experienced none of the problems others have mentioned.
+ A button that turns the touchpad off.
+ Built in speakers are above average, though I don't use them when I have an option.

Cons: - Screen has horrible viewing angles. Really, one of the worst I've seen.
- Touchpad drivers are not the best, certain basic features (e.g. scrolling) are difficult to get to work.
- As with any laptop, bloatware. I uninstalled almost everything.
- Cheap construction. The disc drive is flimsy, the screen bends, touchpad buttons don't feel the best.
- A ridiculously loud beeping sound when you plug-in or remove the power cable.

Other Thoughts: I bought this purely for performance-to-price ratio. Core i5, 4GB ram and a capable graphics card for $750 (at the time of purchase) make this an unbeatable deal in this range. If this is your main concern than I recommend this laptop.

If you want style, portability, nice screen, 1080p resolution, or desktop replacement gaming and computation ability and have the money, consider looking elsewhere.
