Nice packages but quality issues

Pros: This is a nice package and NewEgg's price is not too bad (though I bought about 7 months ago for same). When it's running, it's decently quick. The RAM, had drive, cam, wireless combo is excellent with a great screen.

Cons: We ran into a screen blanking issue that's still not resolved. It may be a bad cable. We also had a fan failure after about 6 months. Sony quality is usually much better than this. The fan was replaced on-site but Sony continues to give push-back on screen blanking, which occurs when typing (screen goes black then returns). They claim driver (updated/reinstalled many times) or power management (turned off/adjusted many times). This issue is nearly a deal breaker. If we can't resolve watch YouTube for a shotgun burial.

Other Thoughts: If you get a good one without the quality control issues, it's a really nice, compact package - hopefully NewEgg is providing the Win7 free updgrade as well (not clear on this page).
