Fast
- Pros: This system is fast, runs Call of Duty 4 w/ max settings quite well, scored over 8500 3d marks on '06. Not a value PC at all, but value priced!
- Cons: Not a 1080p display =(. Not a 64 bit Vista =(. Blu Ray output looks good, but not as good as would be in 1080p. Does not come w/ blu ray video playback software, tho it does come w/ 30 gigs of bloatware from HP ><.
- Other Thoughts: Even tho it does not have full 1080p Resolution, I am still very happy with the purchase. If i want to watch it in full 1080P, I just hook it to my DLP TV, and watch it on 56" =).
- Pros: Great laptop at a great price. Havn't had any issues with it yet. I do alot of gaming and wanted something for when I travel. This has handled running anything I have installed on it yet.
- Cons: Top cover shows fingerprints easily. Ports all on the sides and none on the back.
- Other Thoughts: Great machine for the price. Did alot of looking before I bought one. Neweggs price for this along with the great service I have gotten from them in the past made my decision for me.

Can Not Beat The Deal
- Pros: This Laptop does it all. I have not found one thing that it does not do. I can play games,I can record TV (OTA and Digital Cable),I can use my HTDV as my monitor (LN-T4661),Blu-Ray player works great at 1080P over HDMI, wireless works 802.11G, full keyboard. I could go on and on.
- Cons: It is big. I use it at home as my blu-ray player. So I do not move it around much. Gets pretty hot. I bought a Zalman Chiller ZM-NC2000 to solve that (fits perfect).
- Other Thoughts: I can not find a better deal for the features and price. Even on the HP site. If you want it all. This is the laptop for you.
Crysis Lovers Must Read This!
- Pros: Excellent design. The case is sturdy and very attractive. It is packed with features that are becoming standard on all laptops. 3 Gigs for 32-Bit OS is perfect. The Webcam and Mic are fast. The Blu-Ray Player looks great on the laptop and perfect when using HDMI on an external LCD. The touchpad is very smooth and precise. It also has the touch buttons for all media functions. Supports new wireless N. TV Tuner, Remote, Geforce 8600 with 512MB. The speakers are very loud. All and All a Great Desktop Replacement for the price.
- Cons: 5400 RPM Hard Drive. Mine Came with 2 160GB 5400 RPM Western Digitals. I replaced them both with 2 200GB 7200 RPM Western Digitals. Then I put the 160's in a USB case for 10.00 each to use as extra back ups. If your a Gamer you already know 5400 does not cut it.
- Other Thoughts: Excellent Design, packed with features. I bought the DV9745US from a store. It had all the same features but came with a 1.67GHZ Processor and 320GB of Storage for $1399.00. I loaded Crysis and ran it at 21 FPS,I expected it to be slow. But then I bought the 2.4 T7700 CPU from Newegg. After I installed it I ran Crysis with all Medium Specs at 31 FPS on the 1440x900 laptop display. Then 37 FPS using the HDMI port plugged into my 40" SONY 1080P LCD.
The following Games ran very fast with everything Maxed out: CALL OF DUTY 4, F.E.A.R, QUAKE 4, FAR CRY, HL2, MOH AIRBORNE, NFS PRO STREET.
This Laptop does it all. Very Pleased

- Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN - Wireless N
- Half terabyte of storage split into 2 x 250g disks
- Price x features compared to other current vendors would be 2x more at least
- Cons: - No hardware RAID option with those 2 hdds, guess thats expecting too much
- Other Thoughts: - Someone still needs to come up with a scratch/fingerprint-free finish! Nice finish indeed, but be careful, specially with your watches...
- Bill Gates still wants you to run Vista on this one, but you can make it go XP with a little patience
