Pros: I can run just about every game I want to play on max settings (Starcraft 2, Metro 2033, TF2, Company of Heroes). The Turbo-cool fan button is great. I've had no problems at all.

Cons: The S-bar thing that comes installed is kind of dumb.

Other Thoughts: There's been one person writing multiple 1-egg reviews on this product and giving it a bad score. I've had zero problems with this product, but I also take very good care of it, I keep it clean and have numerous programs to keep it running smoothly.

Pros: Fan controls are really nice, Processor can handle any thing i throw at it, Video card can play every game i put on the system. Also sound is great from this unit. Steel Series keyboard is fluid and easy to use. All in all a great buy.

Cons: Lack of volume controls (just a personal preference). Not much to complain about.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Pirce and Great Package

Pros: I love this laptop. It does everything I need it to and more. The only problem would be how hot it can get during bigger workloads.

Cons: None so far besides the fact I think I have two dead pixels in my screen. Since I can't really afford to mail it back for an RMA I will just wait and see.

Other Thoughts: I have had no problems with this laptop besides an issue with dead pixels on the screen.

Cons: After a month my fan has slightly started clicking.. I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. I really don't like this.

Other Thoughts: I installed an OCZ SSD in the msata slot and I have never seen such an amazing laptop.

Pros: None

Cons: I returned the product because of hardware failure and wrote a product review titled "Lemon" last 10/20/12.

After I received the "reformatted" laptop, and after the initial setup, I began to get the same problems. The first time I opened the laptop after the initial setup, it promptly went to "Launch Repair" (just like the last time), then the blue screen (just like the last time).

I looked at the newegg website to see if my product review was published, and it was. But this time I noticed that others who purchased the same product had the same symptoms I was experiencing. "Update" on 10/18/12, "Bad Laptop" on 10/16/12, "Hard Drive and Video failure" on 10/15/12.

I have "wasted" a lot of time with this laptop. I knew all along and emailed Newegg that a "re-formatted" hard drive would eventually malfunction. At this time, I do not want a replacement. I want my money back.

Pros: Looked like a good buy solely from the 4 egg rating. Gaming was great up to the max video settings.

Cons: After a few weeks, I started getting problems. First it was intermittently going into the repair mode, restore to an earlier date, then the blue screen. In 1 month, you could not turn it on.

Other Thoughts: What happened next was perplexing and presumptuous. Newegg's technicians stated that the unit was not defective, and "could have possibly been caused by virus or compatibility issue with user installed software program(s)". I only use commercial software and do not visit questionable websites. In fact, I installed NOD32 prior to use. There certainly was a software and possibly a hardware problem. I am afraid that I have hardware that is at best on the brink of malfunctioning, and would certainly not last long. I paid $1100 for this!!!!

Pros: None after 4 months.

Cons: Artifacts after about 2 months. 4 months later cant even watch a youtube video without artifacts and crashes. GPU is shot. Kinda saw this coming. This thing doesnt have adequate ventilation for it's power. Now I gotta kick up shipping cost to rma this thing to MSI. This thing is always going to have these failures (Xbox RROD Style). Wish I never bought this thing. Would be nice if they covered the shipping cost because I see this thing being RMAd over and over. Buyer beware, this it not just "a bad unit". This is a design flaw. If yours hasnt failed yet, it will.

Other Thoughts: FYI for MSI tech support: A clean install will never fix screen artifacts or pre-post problems. Soon as your tech support team suggested that, I knew right away I threw my money away, and when I actually spoke to your tech support I was even more convinced of that.

Pros: None

Cons: only used for two months, Video cards and HDD failure, Video cards always Freeze on game mode and last week, the Hard drive start making very big noise. I have installed MF office professional and Adobe Creative Sit 6. Call customer support for RMA, they told me that I need to backup my system before turn in for fix, they not responsible for the lost if my installed software, I asked them now the HDD make big noise I not able to create the backup. So disappointed with this product, this is my first time try MSI and having this bad experience

Pros: Nice out look

Cons: i bought this laptop in June but not use until August, after 2 months when I started playing graphic intense games like Guild Wars 2. The graphics card driver crashes every 10 seconds and the the screen goes black until it resets. Recently, I have noticed that my hard-drive was making a very loud humming noise. After a while, this humming noise becomes a clicking noise. This happens when I use the hard-drive, meaning when it boots up or when i am using something that is on my hard-drive.

Other Thoughts: If I can return this Laptop, I will go for Dell or HP from Costco with good graphic option
