what is the battery life like?

I'd say it's pretty average.  I can get it to last upwards of 4 hours (maybe longer, I usually only need it for about that amount of time without the charger) if I dim the screen all the way and only have a couple programs running.  If I have a bunch of different programs open and I don't dim the screen I get about 2 hours out of it, give or take.

How does this unit handle HD video editing?

I'm not sure how this computer handles HD video editing, to answer one person's question.  But it handles video games at pretty much full settings very well, gets hot sometimes, but overall awesome fast sleek computer.  The 7200 rpm hard drive is also crucial.  Also, surprisingly light and thin.
 The only thing I don't like is that the keyboard isn't back lit, and there is a button to turn on the keyboard light :/  Although the computer light illuminates the keyboard enough and if you have a light on in the room it's no problem.  Sweet keyboard too, even though not back lit. Other than that great computer.

Does this laptop not have left and right mouse click buttons?  I can't see any sign of them near the touchpad in the pictures.

I have the GT70 and it has two buttons at the bottom of the touchpad.  I am guessing that the GE60 will be similar.

How does this computer handle gaming??

50-60 FPS at medium setting (1900x1080) for all current games in the market (tested with BF4 + COD Ghost, it depends on maps) . I would pay $100 more to get the better version with NVIDIA 765GTX and back-lit keyboard.
