Refurbished "Refurbished" products have been tested to ensure compliance with original manufacturer specifications, and MAY include a limited manufacturer warranty - see the item's product page for details.
The Dell Latitude E4300 is designed to shine in performance as well as design. Built thin and light for the road warrior or executive, it combines sleek looks, durability and advanced wireless connectivity.
Refurbished Model is Junk
Pros: Small, lightweight, fairly perky, comes with Windows 7
Cons: -Refurbished Windows 7 version lacks many drivers, add-ons and features of original Dell product
Other Thoughts: First of all, let me say that I cannot return this item and have not tried, because I violated the warranty and replaced the hard drive. This is my responsibility and I totally accept that. I am not giving this laptop one egg because I cannot return it; I am giving it one egg because it is, in my opinion, not suitable for resale as "factory refurbished". The level of quality, features and fit and finish is far more suitable for "used", or perhaps "bought at garage sale".

Excellent choice for a mobile, workhorse laptop
Pros: - Solid build (mostly, see cons)
Cons: Screen bezel seems a bit weak, and there's a "loose" screw-in panel on the bottom that seems to be held in place by stickers. I'd also prefer if the screen snapped into place when closed, rather than just being kept in place by its hinges.
Other Thoughts: I've only had the laptop for a week, but the performance has been great so far. I voided the warranty right off the bat by putting in a 120GB Samsung SSD in place of the stock 160GB hard drive, and putting in 8GB of RAM. After installing Linux Mint onto the SSD (which works extremely well, very compatible with SSD and Laptop), I replaced the DVD drive with the stock hard drive using an aftermarket DVD-to-HDD caddy. I've been extremely happy with the performance -- Linux Mint boots in ~6 seconds, and the computer has handled everything I've thrown at it. I don't need the latest Intel processor, TBs of HDD storage, and video games... I needed a reliable, mobile workhorse that could handle the intensive programming I do as a computational physics student, not to mention all that other office stuff!

Pros: Solid build, long battery life.
Cons: No RAID 0, only 2 USB ports, no Displayport or HDMI.
Other Thoughts: Got mine from Dell a while back, not from the Egg- but I am a devout Egg customer.
