5 out of 5 eggsVery well built laptop

Pros: First off, I bought it to run Starcraft II. It runs SC2 like a (thing that runs sc2 very well) and hardly ever has to kick on the fan because it runs cool.
I put it into hibernation mode and whenever I go to use the laptop, I open it up and by the time I can reach into my backpack to get my headphones out, it can go from hibernation to being completely turned on and ready to use.
Also, looks baller. Everyone asks me what type of laptop it is when I use it in public.

Cons: It's a little big. Personally I bought it expecting this and if you're buying it I would expect it too. I don't know why you wouldn't want a big laptop. I guess it would probably be pretty unenjoyable to carry this thing around if I hadn't bought the nice backpack to go with it.

Other Thoughts: I am personally someone who has a lot of anxiety buying expensive things, and I did a lot of research to come to this laptop. The most important things in buying computer things, in my opinion are reliability and how well put together they are. With all that taken into consideration, I feel like I made an excellent purchase with this laptop.

I bought this backpack to go with it:
It doesn't fit perfectly inside, you have to pull the zipper a little bit to stretch the backpack just a slight amount to get it inside.

I also got this cooling pad:
The laptop itself is shaped in such a way that the keyboard is propped up a little bit, and this cooling pad props up the whole thing a little bit more. I'm operating at about a 20 degree angle against the ground. Will probably give me carpal tunnel.

3 out of 5 eggsDecant Computer

Pros: It's a good computer, I planed to do more CAD work on it then gaming. I did eventual play some games to test and see if it's worth my money spent. It is decant for CAD and Games and other Stuff. It's decant, you can accomplish a lot on this computer, it's repayable. So far i had it for 7 months. But Like all computer it has it's fair share of cons.

Cons: The laptop had a big bulky Battery witch stick out of the back and the power brick is 5in by 3in by 1.5in. I think the brick is too big, but that just a typical size of a gaming laptop. I think the Battery stick out to keep air flow when gaming. The sound card and the speakers are disappointing. I don't know what the problem is but I think it is the sound card it's been glitching ever since I got the laptop. The glitching only happen at times with any audio related application. I have this problem since the day I bought it. The glitching is annoying when i try to watch movies or stream music. I only waited this long to see if they would release a patch or a updated driver to fix the audio problem since it's a newer model laptop. So far no luck. Turing it in to service soon.

Other Thoughts: There should be more and better WARRINTY options for devices that cost more. The reason is that if the costumer is investing in a more expensive product there should be better Warranty and coverage for the product that is being sold to them. So that the Costumer can build trust and not fear the expense of buy more expansive product.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Laptop

Pros: It's a very adequate gaming laptop. Everything runs smoothly with no hiccups. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a laptop with a dedicated graphics card on a limited budget.

Cons: Might get some lag trying to run high end games maxed out plus.

Other Thoughts: It's hard to find a case or lapdesk for this laptop.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop

Pros: Great look, runs fast, runs quiet, solid build, love the keyboard, backlit keys are great, battery life is pretty good for a laptop this size.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Bought it for my wife to play Star Wars. Runs SWTOR and WOW on max settings with no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal "HOT" Bargin

Pros: Plays just about everything, Skyrim needs to be set to normal with minimal add-ons, Starcraft 2 plays @ 50fps on ultra settings, getting 40-50FPS on Diablo 3. Plays just about everything. Very very quick system.
Economy settings are a very nice feature too, extending battery life much further!

Cons: With speed comes heat, not to mention a huge battery that gets warm with extended play. Not much else to complain about.

Other Thoughts: Do you play video games?
Are you mobile, or never home?
If you answered no to those questions don't buy the computer.
If yes occurred than DO IT.

5 out of 5 eggsLaptop Hater LOVES THIS THING.

Pros: Runs games (SWTOR highest settings, etc.) BEAUTIFULLY, has minimal power consumption, amazing video card, great processor, plenty of RAM, the speakers are UNBELIEVABLE, the light-up keys are perfect at night. You can charge your phone without turning on the laptop with the single always-on USB port, the screen is beautiful, the rippled contours for your wrists are low and relaxing, and the quick buttons on top are incredibly useful. The keys are so comfortable and lowly engraved that it's a breeze and requires little to no strain. I've built 15 computers and I have loathed laptops for years as worthless low-upgrade junk. This is not a laptop. This is a beast on wheels. Not only would I buy it again but I would tell every friend to ignore every laptop on the market and put this one first and foremost. This machine is worth so much more than its cost and I've actually preferred it in gaming over my own machines. Buy it, buy it now.

Cons: Extremely minor things: would rather have the USB Sleep and Charge port farther away from the regular one, strange position to be where it is. Any laptop this powerful overheats, but buy a 4-star cooling pad. For high-intensity video games, your left hand might feel hot so I recommend buying a G13 logitech game pad just to keep your hands off the machine (saves on key repairs from laptops, as I've endured in the past). Also the power supply is HUGE and the size of a brick or two bricks. That thing will get insanely hot so I recommend keeping it off of a rug when possible. You don't want it on your lap, it will likely burn you. Also it makes smaller laptop backpacks make it impossible to carry the thing around. Buy a big laptop bag. I bought one on here and had to buy a whole new one because it wouldn't fit with my standard cooling pad. Very frustrating.

Other Thoughts: So worth it. Buy it. Buy it buy it buy it. Buy a big laptop backpack to store all of your accessories and cooling pad and hold your power supply and you'll be good. Totally recommend the Cooler Master NotePal, the Logitech G9x mouse, and the G13 Logitech gamepad. The colors all match the machine in addition to their incredibly awesome 5-stars to date.

3 out of 5 eggsDead pixel on arrival

Pros: Seems fast from what I got to play with but dead pixel right in the main viewing area really sucks! Had to request an RMA and send back.

Cons: Dead pixel and screen not as sharp as I had hoped but very fast and responsive.

5 out of 5 eggsMuch better buy than ASUS or MSI

Pros: Can run bf3 on ultra and the witcher 2 with all settings on ultra but 1... I'll let that speak for itself.
The red looks awesome and the price is great.

Cons: Only thing I noticed on mine is that sometimes when I wake it from sleep the speakers get confused and stay off, but putting back to sleep and waking it up usually does the trick. Not worth dropping an egg since its not a big deal. Also The Optimus gets a bit Annoying when it tries to run a game off the integrated GPU but a quick visit to graphics properties fixes that issue.

Other Thoughts: Don't plan on playing games for more than 30 min on just the battery the GPU is a power hog... I tried and failed. If your a gamer looking for a good laptop go with this one... I spent a month deciding between this the Asus 74sx and the msi 683gtr and I'm happy I went with this one. I saved a lot of money and it does everything I could wish for.

5 out of 5 eggsMAGNIFICENT BUY!!!

Pros: I bought this computer is play games (heavily), edit/record videos, photoshop, and 3d model. I needed a mobile power house for a reasonable price. BEST INVESTMENT EVER.

I owned a 2009 15" Macbook Pro before this and all I can say is WOW. Everything is better. Literally. I will NEVER go back to apple after this. The screen is crystal clear when playing 1080p video, audio from internal speakers sounds like my bose in ear headphones and not a plastic toy (Far better than my macbook!!!).

This computer runs my favorite game, minecraft, with 180 FPS with all settings turned up and fullscreen! Keyboard is amazing and is a FULL one at that! If that isn't enough, the special eco mode, touch sensitive buttons, and various function keys really sweaten up the deal! And to wrap everything into one pretty package, the keyboard is backlight red! The overall case/trackpad is also very sturdy and has a textured feel (very welcomed to me).

Cons: The battery is on the shortish side, the computer says about 5 hours, but to put that into perspective, When i edit and game, I plug in the laptop. The only time it is unplugged is when I'm browsing the web or watching videos, in which putting on eco mode really helps! Here's an example to help:

Last night watched 2 hrs of video, read engadget, put the computer to sleep and closed lid. Slept 8 hours and when i woke up there was 50% battery left. Plenty for me!

Only other issue is the fan. Can get a little loud at times, and I'm nervous for it when I go to record audio while playing a game. However this will probably not be a problem after I get a laptop cooling stand. The only time the fan gets loud is when the computer is working very hard during a game however, which so far has been rarely. I only have heard the fan speed up once over the past 3 days.

Other Thoughts: From a techy, gaming teen, you're nuts not to get thid if you're on a budget! Best buy I could have made!
