Cons: The slowest computer I have ever had the displeasure of purchasing.

Pros: It runs Windows7 without issue, it hasn't set me on fire, it hasn't locked the pod bay doors, its fairly energy efficient, very nice large screen.

Cons: They keyboard is just terrible (the middle keys are constantly locking up), the trackpad is atrocious and changes sensitivities on a whim, the monitor can't be turned to black while it's running, the DVD player is in a fairly inconvenient spot and doesn't like to open, one of the USB ports doesn't connect properly, can't physically lock the laptop closed.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a cheap replacement for a dying, very old laptop. I use it mainly for reading, studying, and writing papers in college. Which is why the poorly designed keyboard drives me insane. I have to press harder on specific keys to get them to register because of how poorly the keys are seated (this is something that cannot be fixed without redesigning and rebuilding the laptop from the ground up), and I really wish I had known that before I got this laptop. I would much rather have a less powerful laptop with an amazing keyboard than a more powerful laptop with a bad keyboard.

It's decent. For the price it's fairly good. But if you need to do a lot of typing beware, this beast is a pain and constantly noticing that your Ls, Ps, Os, and Ms just are registering when you type may drive you batty.

Pros: This is a great entry level unit. The customer loved the features for the price, especially the HDMI port and the numerical keypad. She also liked the Optical drive on the left side.

Cons: The speakers sound tinny

Other Thoughts: Overall I like the machine. It has a nice feel to it and except for the speakers it's great. I should have bought two or three of these.

Pros: None yet, never received the Laptop and now have received a RMA to return it.

Cons: Never received my computer. This is the second order. I called the company and they were very helpful and it seemed that the problem had been resolved. I gave them my correct address, but I still never received the Laptop. This is my second order that I have not received from Newegg. 2 for 2.

Pros: Bought this one for my better half, for internet surfing and email.
I easily uninstalled the excess bloatware then updated everything. Works like a champ.
I also added 4GB of memory.

Other Thoughts: Just one thing I wanted to add to help out ... I removed the stock HDD and put in an Intel SSD with Windows 8 release preview and the Wifi drivers included with Windows are bugged. It will tax your CPU at 50% at idle no matter what you do. Download the Toshiba drivers from their support page. Fixes the issue.

Good viewing angle on a surprisingly clear and bright 15.6" screen
Less bloatware than previous laptops/easier to remove
Easy upgrade to windows 8 (for $15)

Cons: 320gb HDD - smaller than ideal, but not tiny
Audio quality - as with any budget laptop, sound quality is maybe 2 or 3 out of 10.

Other Thoughts: A great little laptop for general use and productivity. Not ideal for serious gaming but can still have fun. Comes with 4gb DDR3 1333mhz, I strongly recommend purchasing a decent 4gb stick to bring your total to 8gb. Made my machine much more "snappy" and raised my RAM score from 5.9 to 7.6.

Pros: Came on time. Running perfectly. Its a low-end laptop but it does what I need it to for school, web browsing and occasionally tangoing with family. I upgrade to 8 gb of ram and it is pretty quick.

Cons: lots of bloatware. easy to uninstall though.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a budget I would recommend this laptop.

Pros: Pentium CPU does the job. Boots quickly and the screen is OK. Plays Internet video fine.

I connect two monitors to the HDMI/VGA ports and both images are crisp.

The textured surface of the track pad feels good, after a period of adjustment.

CPU fan is usually running, but muted. Speccy reports 39C-46C CPU temps.

Cons: Tinny speakers; similar to my non-smart cell phone speaker. None of the audio adjustments helped very much.

Very flexible chassis. Lifting the corner near the DVD drive flexes the chassis.
