Pros: I bought this laptop with the new AMD A8-4555 chip as it is supposed to draw very low power and hence produce a long battery life. I have not been disappointed, 5 hours battery life when doing normal tasks over the day including watching numerous videos has been the norm. It will also handle any graphics intense processes I throw at it, including games at the settings that match its 1366 x 768 screen, all the while staying relatively cool compared to my previous laptop. It also has a full sized keyboard with a number pad which was something I was really after. Great unit. Cons: The biggest con to this unit is Windows 8..... Enough said.... It is also a fingerprint magnet on the area around the screen which is quite glossy. Finally it has quite a bit of bloatware that has taken some time to get rid of. Other Thoughts: At a competitive price point you get long battery life (comparable to some Ultrabooks) with a bigger screen and you can do some gaming at respectable frame rates.
