32 bit OS and 4GB ram
- Pros: Great machine Great company.
- Cons: It needs to ship with 4GB RAM for this price. Even if their motherboard will not allow windows to see all 4 GB. I didn't get from Newegg, as my work bought it for me :-(
- Other Thoughts: For everyone out there whining that a 32 bit OS does not see 4 GB RAM. Please try a bit of math 2^32 = what? The reason most of your computers can only see 3.25 or if you are lucky 3.6 GB of RAM is that there is more going on behind the scenes. A good motherboard and setup will give Windows the ability to see and use all 4 GB. Win XP 32 bit has a switch you can enable. Do some research before claiming what 32 bits will do.

- Pros: 1920x1200 Resolution, nVidia8600M GT, Intel X7800, 17" screen, Blu-Ray Multi... The Price, Fastest notebook available it seems!
- Cons: 8600M GT, the only thing I would say is unless you just can't wait the 8800M GTX is just around the corner and may even be available now... but if you really want the fastest wait for this!
- Other Thoughts: I want one really bad. Also to those whining about the memory, the reason most don't ship with more than 2gb is because unless you have 64bit OS it is USELESS as the OS can't even address more than 2GB, but since this puppy has Vista Ultimate which is 64bit you can easily upgrade. What more could you ask for, for the price?

- Other Thoughts: I read a article about high end Gameing lap tops Amazingly dells in the top 3 well geuss what dells number one at the moment with about 1.1grand more it comes with a 2.8 ghz core 2 extreme and dual 8700mgt 512 ddr3 1gb in total and i think 256 in bit rate. plus it comes with the first agia phyx card plus hd quality screen and speakers only thing asus got on dell is probly there customer support.
