2 partitions of 128 GB each. BY default one is set aside for programs and one partition for data. I haven't changed that default.

Question 2

I see the RAM can be upgraded from 4 to 10GB from other Q/A's. Does anyone know if the 128GBx2 SSD's be expanded also?

Short answer, yes.  There are a few points to expand upon though: as I thought I was obtaining this to put in a few upgrades and found a few surprises myself.

1) The RAM is upgradable as you mention, one is sodered to the board, the other is upgradable.

2) The hard drive(s) is/are one unit on a RAID controller. You replace the entire 128gbx128gb SSD.

3) The BIOS for this unit is UNBEARABLY DIFFICULT to work with.  I purchased a Corsair 320gb SSD in hopes of replacing one of the drives (See #2 to my surprise). And, the laptop refused to recognize the SSD as either NTFS or FAT32 format (I installed win 7 on it).  The Corsair drive works just fine in my desktop, could not get the drive to function.

4) In conclusion to #2 and #3, Windows 7 was a challenge to install via USB hard disk because of the difficult BIOS.  However, I made it happen, still without the sucess of my Corsair drive.  I ended up leaving the original 128x128 gb drive in it.

Question 3

Is this touch screen?

The Zenbook Prime does not have a touch screen.  If you are looking for one, the Zenbook Touch may be the way to go.

On a side note, I purchased this due to the following:
- Dual 128 GB SSDs, RAID 0.  This is achieved by having an adapter card to allow 2 miniPCI-Express SSD cards to connect to the standard 2.5" SATA connection.  This means that if a drive fails, the miniPCE-Express card could be replaced, or the entire module could be replaced with a standard SSD or 2.5" SATA drive
- DDR3 memory slot.  There is 2 GB RAM soldered on the system board (non-replaceable) and 2 GB RAM stick for a total of 4 GB RAM.  I replaced the 2 GB RAM stick with an 8 GB RAM stick (GSkill F3-1600C11S-8GSL) for 10 GB RAM
- Dual graphics card for better performance and power saving.  When on battery, the integrated Intel HD graphics chipset becomes the primary for low power drain and when plugged in, the nVidia GT620M with 1 GB GDDR5 dedicated memory becomes the primary for performance
- Small screen with 1920x1080 resolution.  I usually need to have a lot of things up on the screen at once and wanted a small laptop (upgrading from my Acer AspireOne AO522 netbook) with a large resolution

Can the RAM be upgraded? If so how much? Also, is the 4GB RAM a single stick?

Ram can be upgraded to a total of 10GB. One stick with 2 GB is soldered on the motherboard and the other 2 GB stick can be removed and replaced with up to 8 GB DDR3 1600 Mhz for a total of 10 GB.

This is a great computer - it is fast and the display is beautiful.

Are both the 128GB partitions SSD? or is it a hybrid drive with 128GB SSD and 128GB HDD?

I answered this in a roundabout question for a different person, I was surprised when I opened the laptop to find the 128gb x128gb SSD was a RAID controller board.  They function was a single unit, they are both SSD.  Windows default partitions them to separate drives (but there is only one physicial "drive" in the machine.

Question 6

There's some confusion regarding the graphics card. In the product description it only lists the integrated graphics, but the title calls for an nvidia GT620M. which one is correct?

both are correct actually. it has an integrated graphics card which is used by default when running basic stuff and just tooling around; but it also has the invidia card for heavier duty. I set my invidia card as the preferred graphics card because i stream a lot of video either from the internet or through chromecast (which i also advocate strongly), and the battery life is still excellent when the screen size and type of use is factored in. i could not be happier with this product, and i haven't even installed the extra RAM i bought yet.

Question 7

Windows 8 is very difficult to get used to on this computer. I would really like to upgrade to Windows 7. Is there an easy way to convert this unit?

the 8.1 update is actually pretty nice. it still has the headache of having to use file explorer to run specific programs, but if you take the time to set up your tiles and pin the necessities to the taskbar it isn't so bad...im gonna stick with it for a while unless i get really frustrated. that doesn't answer the question of how to convert....but that can't be very difficult if you have a windows 7 disk or a (possibly cracked) file to install from.

The top of the ad says this ultrabook has a nVidia GT620M 1GB video card, but in the specs it doesn't show the card for this model. Which is it?

It comes with both integrated graphics on the CPU and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 620M.  Most OS will use both, integrated to save power and dedicated when required for performance.

The main page for the item no longer lists it. So I wouldn't bet on it. I would contact Newegg directly to make sure. Still for what your get for the price it's a great ultrabook.

Question 10

I would like to purchase this ultrabook with added ram. How do I order extra ram? Does adding additional ram after purchase void the warranty?

ASUS warns that upgrading the RAM may void the warranty, so I would suggest being careful.  The memory in this system consist of 2 GB solder on-board (non-replaceable) and a 2 GB DIMM.  If you do upgraded it, I would suggest holding onto the original stick by storing it in the case the new memory came in just in case you run into any issue, you could then use the stock memory to test and troubleshoot the system.  I upgraded mine to 10 GB by replacing the 2 GB DIMM with a G.SKILL F3-1600C11S-8GSL
