It's a windows 10. This is a little off your question, but the processor is what you need to think about.  It was slow as soon as I turned it on and got everything working right! Then when I tried to return it they charged me $80 as a filing/packaging fee. Don't waste your money and time on this one.

I do not see any touch screen ability on this laptop. Unless I am missing something I have to switch on, simply touching the icons on the screen with your finger does nothing.

Yes, I believe it came with McAfee and all the other crap, useless, bloatware that normally comes on a Dell. I wish I could tell you more but I immediately wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows 10 so it is new but with only the software that I put on...

Besides using this laptop for basic school stuff, can I play League of Legends on it or other games without a problem with lagging or any other hassles?

Yeah for one thing 8gig ram is amazing. On 6 low graphics can still run well without lag. I've been playing Skyrim on medium-high settings and it runs pretty well. As well as running Skyrim Minecraft can run well on high settings. So I would recommend it for school and gaming.

Would this laptop be a good choice to use for an interior design student who needs to use a lot of big programs like adobe, autodesk, and more design programs?

I would recommend you to get a laptop with i7 processor, more RAM and discrete video card with hardware graphics acceleration.
Screen resolution of this laptop is 1366 x 768 which is probably too low for what you are planning to do on it.
