I did a bunch of googling with the same model number. It does look to have the high res screen.  If you look at dell's ordering page, you can see the model with the same config has the high res screen: dell dot com/us/p/xps-15-9530/pd

I ordered one and it should be here tomorrow..

I can 100% confirm that the HDD is upgradable to an SSD because I've done it! Be forewarned though, you'll need to obtain the OS disc from Dell. Luckily, they are awesome about providing this and overnighted mine for a fast and painless upgrade.
