does this come with office home and student?

It sure does come Office Home & Student.  I haven't had this tablet too long but so far I really like it!  The only negative is that it came pre-loaded with so much "junk" it was truly incredible!  Almost like maleware.  Thankfully my son is an IT guru and he took off all the nonsense.  Otherwise, perfect size, love the magnetic hinge, nice touch screen with a beautiful video display.  You don't need to spend a bunch of money when you can get a tablet like this at a cost effective price.

Can you download digital pictures onto it using the camera card?

"Yes. Has micro SD slot if that is what you use, or you will need a USB card reader. There are 2 USB ports. This is a fully functioning Windows 8.1 notebook / mini laptop. Runs Windows apps and windows programs, including Word and Excel. (Have not tried to run intensive games or photo editing apps). The processor and RAM are at the lower end but that helps to keep the cost down. The touch screen is nice at this price. Keyboard comes off so it becomes a tablet. Keyboard is not the flimsy add-on, but well attached. Good to carry around in bag or brief case and to use for/ during meetings or on the go. Battery life is a limited. Carry the charger where ever you go. Get a micro mouse as well, for the times you use it on a flat surface. Has a 51 Gig SSD. After window, MS Office and some other installed programs, there are another 35 Gig of space for pictures and other stuff. Boots fast."

maximum sd memory that can be added?

I have a 32G micro sdhc in the system and it shows as another drive, so what ever size you will work. Don't forget that you can format the drive to ntfs so you can put you One drive files on it and save space on you "C" drive.
I have not used the Acer Cloud which come with the Tablet.
I have to say that I'm an Acer fan, still working with my Travel 2300, Vista Ultimate, which it not supported with 100G drive 2G memo.

Question 4

Is this a 34bit or 64bit, i can not seem to find the information?

It comes with Windows 8.1 32-bit. While the processor is 64-bit capable, it has the new secure boot scheme that I've heard will only boot 32-bit images and I have not been able to get it to boot anything other than Windows 8.1 that it comes with.

Yes.  All connection features and wireless are compatible and legal in the UK.

The power supply will work with UK voltage and frequency.   It will need a physical pin adapter to modify the plug to fit UK plugs.

It says it comes with Microsoft home & student 2013.   Does that mean Microsoft office is included? The overview says you can edit office documents. The wording is making me question what exactly is Microsoft home & student.

It is a "scaled down" version of Office, and does not have all the programs nor the features of the full up Office.   It will let you do basic editing, e-mail, and such.

It appears there is no rear facing camera. Is this correct?

Correct. There is no rear facing camera but it is so simple to pull off the 'tablet' from the keyboard and point and shoot.  Once you learn the basics about where it 'looks', making videos or taking pictures is pretty simple.  Yes, a rear facing camera would be great but that is about the only weakness I have noticed.  Love it and get asked a lot by others where I got it.  Especially when I do a little showing off of its 4 positions/configurations of keyboard and tablet.

Is RAM upgradable to 8 GB?

That is a technical question for the manufacturer but I would guess no. Buy the one with the max on the front end and avoid the upgrade for later.

Is there a monthly internet plan available so I can access the internet anywhere ie: on a boat or while in a car?

This notebook does not have cellular service built in.  It has WiFi.  If you need to take it off shore and to travel, you may want to consider sharing your smart phone's cellular data service with the Switch 10.  Or get a separate cellular modem (for example MiFI)  that wirelessly connects to the Switch and all your other devices).  Since this notebook runs on Windows 8.1 you can also find a USB dongle cellular modem - but that limits the connection to the notebook.  The MiFi type of device (small rectangular) is more effective, but has to be charged.

Does this model have a 500GB harddrive included in the dock?

It does not have the hard drive. I purchased a 64GB micro SD card to give me a total of 168 for the machine. So far, that seems to meet my needs quite well. The unit is pretty responsive for an Atom processor.
