5 out of 5 eggsGreat dock!

Pros: It doubles the battery life of the tablet making a tablet a viable business companion. SD card/USB ports.

Cons: If you want to use the tablet without the keyboard and you're on the move you have to lug the keyboard around.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Docking Station

Pros: Allows the use of a USB drive and expands the use of the tablet as a mini-laptop.

The dock does extend the time of use by providing another battery.

Cons: None really. I find the smaller keyboard a little awkward to use, but it is so much better than the virtual keyboard. The mouse pad is not the greatest because it is easy to accidentially hit with your thumb and it does not seem to be as responsive as you would expect, but you can just touch the screen, so you really don't need it.

Other Thoughts: I have had the tablet for over a year and the docking station for about 6 months. They work very well together. I have found myself using the tablet more since purchasing the dock because I can check and respond to e-mails and discussion boards while using a treadmill.

I give this a 5 star rating despite my mild complaint about the mouse pad because you don't really need the pad with a touch screen.

5 out of 5 eggswell worth gettting

Pros: this is really worth getting for you tablet gives it extra battery life and protects the screen when I fold it up. I like how I have the option to use a usb drive as well.

Cons: the touch pad is very sensitive but other than that I see no cons with this.

4 out of 5 eggsNear Perfect Companion

Pros: The dock for the TF300 is a good complment for the tablet. The extra battery helps add a few more hours to your enjoyment. The full USB port is a valueable addition. I was able to connect my external hard drive, a wired gamepad, even a wired mouse to my tablet using this dock.

Cons: The touchpad is quite sensitive. Proper hand placement while using is key. As you can very easily mis-click with it while typing.

Other Thoughts: The optional dock can be a very valuable companion to your tablet. I would suggest in investing into it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TF300T Accessory

Pros: Inexpensive (when bought on sale), touch pad works very well, has built-in battery, provides USB and SD card connections, easy to connect/disconnect, keyboard battery is used before tablet battery, increases the tablet's battery life by around 50%.

Cons: When connected the "netbook" can be top heavy and a little unstable. Not a huge problem though.

Other Thoughts: This is a great addition to the TF300T tablet. It turns it into a very respectable laptop replacement. Also, this isn't just a keyboard. It is a touch pad, a battery extender, full size USB port, an SD card slot and it also serves as a stand for the tablet. Asus even went to the trouble to make the keyboard battery the first one to discharge so the tablet can be disconnected from it and still have a full charge remaining.

This keyboard dock really is a great compliment to an already fantastic tablet. It takes the TF300T into the realm of netbooks and makes it an acceptable periodic stand-in for a laptop.

4 out of 5 eggsAs good as new

Pros: Its got the 1080 screen (Granted its scaled since the screen is to small for true 1080)

Great battery life even at max settings. Got about 5 hours at max settings and with over 10 apps running the entire time.

The screen doesn't have a lot of glare. I went and read the new items reviews and I don't understand how anyone could knock the clarity of the screen.

Its nice to run applications on this and see them not lag. If I do... IE... A dice application and spam out 10 dice rolls on my HTC device it lag like crazy if not completely crash. I just keep spamming dice rolls on this and it keeps going with no lag at all.

The 3D rendering on this is beautiful! They need to put more apps out to take advantage!

Cons: The WiFi don't like running for long durations of time. It likes to DC and claim theres no internet. Yet there are 3 other devices connected and they all have good connections. Leads me to thing the driver isn't good or it needs better bandwidth control.

The Guerrilla glass is a nice touch and it holds up well... I drooped the thing when we first got it and not a scratch or dead pixel. Problem is its a finger print magnet and it likes to show said fingerprints with any bright light app or watching a good movie on it.

The multi task isn't that good. It doe sit better then other devices bar none but... it like to close out active windows or even streams when you shrink them to... check email or answer an IM.

When you get this its weird... You got to plug it in for a good hour before it will turn on yet the paperwork says it can come on once you get the solid orange light. I was ready to call it in as a DOA when it finally booted up.

Other Thoughts: There are easy solutions to the cons... a quick driver change to make it so the bandwith dont get out of control and make the WiFi reset could be an update. A good clean rag that could fit in your bag can clean it to remove finger prints. I think the battery was completely drained during the refurbishment and didn't get a partial charge like most new devices do so you can use it while it charges.

On a side not. I think these are OEMs that Newegg is selling. The device is clean... no scraps or scratches anywhere! Even the charger is in the anti static wrap like a new one would be. It looks like its never been used. If you want to save some good money get this and not the new one. Sure no paperwork of software but you can get all of that from the Asus website.
