Pros: it worked for 6 months.

Cons: After 6 months, USB port - power supply port - got loose. I needed to tweak the port with a screw driver every once a while... now it is nearly dead.

Other Thoughts: i won't buy zalman...

Pros: It cooled well, had an equal distribution of air, and was built well. It worked for almost a year and a half. I game and play media on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite L505) pretty often. The laptop's built-in fans turn on when the Laptop is overheating. With this cooler, the internal laptop fans rarely turned on, only a few sparse times during the summer (which was 100+ degrees where I live and we had no working A/C). My Laptop's temperatures were relatively stable throughout the time it worked. I took good care of this product btw. Never dropped it and always packed it away in my laptop bag during non-use.

Cons: Well not so much a con, but just the result It finally gave out on me at the 17-month mark. The fans would no longer work and my laptop's built-in fans started having to work recently. Time to get a new one!

Other Thoughts: I feel it was worth the money, but I believe everyone has a different perception on the real value of an item and expected working lifetime for a product.

Other Thoughts: I paired this with my new Asus Ul80vt and It works well. The laptops usb ports turn off in sleep mode, so I dont waste power when the laptop can cool itself. On high setting (which isn't too loud if you use sound) I can keep my laptop cool even when playing games. I should note that the top of my laptop will (keyboard area) still gets very warm after continued use. The feet on the bottom make lap-using uncomfortable but u can position the cooler in between your legs to help a bit.

Pros: It does what is says and has a quality feel to it to boot. It actually keeps my laptop so cool it blows onto my hands and keeps me cool as well, not such a bad thing with summer coming up

Cons: The fans may annoy some, but I work with headphones on all day so it's not a big deal. Honestly, even with the headphones off I don't really notice it more than once a day.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again and recommend to friends

Pros: Works, uses USB power, looks nice, quiet.

Cons: Only 1 USB port on back, but I guess you can't put too many as it would exceed output, so a trade off from separate power supply versus USB powered. Laptop tends to slide down a bit.

Other Thoughts: Wish there were some sort of pegs or stopper strip that would keep the laptop from sliding down a bit. There are a couple of rubber strips but they're a little too shallow/thin so they aren't super effective.

Pros: Outstanding cooling, keeps laptop well within safe operating temps!

Other Thoughts: Glad I spent the extra few bucks, although only two fans, the unit is designed well and does the job nicely!

Other Thoughts: I bought it for my fiancee to use with her laptop, and it barely fits on the cooler. I would have gone with the 2000 if it hadn't been so much more expensive. However it does cool very well, an average of 10c cooler. I have a zalman CPU cooler and it works great as well, it's been going strong for 3 years and it will probably outlast my CPU. Zalman products are great.

Pros: Excellent notebook cooler! Firstly, it is very quiet, secondly it is comfortable on lap or otherwise. It is well built, sturdy, I can't find flaw in it. Highly recommend if anyone is thinking about which cooler to get. It is slightly pricier than others but worth it.
