Other Thoughts: I haven't checked the exact drop in temperature but I can easily tell it's running much cooler just from the touch. I play WoW and other games on my laptop so I wanted to make sure it ran cool enough. I have no problems. The unit is literally whisper quiet. I can't even hear it unless I move close to it and focus on the sound. It's a slight hum on max setting. The build is solid and I like the raised angle it provides. Totally satisfied with this purchase.

Pros: very quiet got it for my wife's laptop because of heat also extremely light. Even on high very quiet

Pros: keeps everything cool. It keeps my hands cool as well. Temps dropped an average of 5 degrees. My hard drive is pretty much frozen. Good Job Cooler Master.

Cons: Feels little brittle. The grips don't line up with all laptops and mine sorta slides down a little.

Other Thoughts: Fix the Grip Issue Cooler Master and you are aces.

Pros: - Three speed fan
- Air moves out the back through a vent and not the bottom
- Bottom is solid which makes it great for sitting on a couch with a blanket
- Fan is quiet even on high

Cons: - USB cable is a little short but reaches just fine
- Power button is a little hard to reach to turn it on and off
- 17 inch computer hangs over a little bit but not to much nothing that can't be handled

Other Thoughts: - Used it during a Lan party kept my G60 HP laptop nice and nice and cool during a 2 hour Age of Empire III game
- clips on the back for "cord management" is more or less useless

Pros: Nice design, works well. Slanted at an angle for better ergonomics.

Other Thoughts: Better than the trays at that one electronic store with the yellow sign. Those are made from cloth...what's up with that?

Pros: Moves a good amount of air over all the underside of a notebook. With the fan on high my temps have dropped 5-8 celsius. Having the induction port on the backside instead of the underside like many other coolers mean you can use this in bed on a blanket or pillow and it won't block your airflow.

Cons: It claims to fit most 17" notebooks but it doesn't fit my 17" hp.

Other Thoughts: Your ambient temp (room temp) has a great deal to do with cooling. I have put new rubber feet a inch or two more towards the center of my 17" hp and it now sits on this wonderfully.

Pros: Silent on all settings, better than more expensive coolers, extra USB ports, fits in my laptop bag (a bit tight).

Cons: I guess if I had a smaller laptop this might be a bit big. Barely fits into my laptop bag, but it does fit.

Other Thoughts: Most coolers have the vents on the bottom making them usless if you set it on anything but a flat surface. I'm glad I bought a cooler that keeps the lap in laptop.

Pros: Does the job.

Cons: Kinda bulky for wanted.
If its smaller than a 15inch notebook it will slip

Pros: Probably the sturdiest laptop cooler I've seen, not flimsy or bendy. The USB ports are nice.

Keeps my daughter's laptop very cool when she watches movies. It used to crash after an hour or so because of heat buildup, but not any more.

Air is pulled in from the top and out the back of the cooler with a gentle whoosh, even on the highest setting. Nice.

Other Thoughts: The problem with laptops is their vents are all on the bottom. So if you actually use it on your lap or on the carpet like my daughter, you block all the airflow and it heats up.

Using a cooler like this one gets the laptop onto its rubber feet, leaving room for airflow. Models like this one pull cool air from the top ... toward the laptop vents, where it can get sucked in by the laptop fan.
