5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Great angle for comfortable typing. Keeps good airflow over my GPU.

Cons: The price is kind of high for what it is.

Other Thoughts: Keeps my GPU running under 80 degrees C in Fallout 3, and all of my source games.

Would definitely recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Works great to keep the laptop elevated and stable. The legs are very adjustable which means it can be used on multiple laptops. It's also possible to put the laptop all the way up on the back pegs (to have a downward tilt) or bring it off the back pegs (so that the laptop is flat and parallel to the table). It folds up very well and is very portable as well.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsA bit pricey but would order again

Pros: Does what it is supposed to do. Elevates the laptop for better cooling and as a bonus it also makes it easier for me to use the keyboard. Laptop fan runs less and is overall slightly quieter.

Cons: A bit of wobble at times as noted by others. Requires occasional adjustment.

Other Thoughts: I am using the X-Stand with a Toshiba A85-S107. After a few minutes of use, I found the sweet spot for adjusting the supports spread and optimum placement. The front supports fit around the front edge of the laptop frame. For what it is and due to the slight instability of the hardware, it should be priced 20% less.

4 out of 5 eggsCool laptop accessory to have

Pros: -rubber grips hold laptop well and doesn't slip
-sturdy construction
-can be used for 12"-19" laptops

Cons: -just a tiny bit wobbly for my "uneven-shaped" laptop
-wish front arms had a little bit more adjustability

Other thoughts (lol never knew Newegg has a 1000 word limit so I had to borrow some space here):

I actually bought this from A_M_azon. When I first took it out of the packaging, part of the product was held securely by a packaging sticker and when I removed it, it left a messy sticker residue (a huge pet peeve of mine) which I still can't completely remove. Thanks, Targus. Anyways, this product does its job well. It's built tough, it has solid gripping, and even though the outside packaging says it can hold laptops up to 17", it can actually hold up to 19" according to the one-sheet manual. So those with 18.4" laptops should have no problem using this. I use this for my 17.3" laptop and I'm not even using the longest extension setting.

Other Thoughts: (continued...)

I spent a long time adjusting the arms to hold my laptop perfectly, but no matter what I do, I still can't make it 100% completely wobble-free. I think it's because my laptop (which is a 17.3" Gateway btw) isn't exactly evenly-shaped especially on the bottom. So if your laptop is more box-shaped, then you should have no problem with wobbling. I wish the front arms were more adjustable. You can't place the front arms closer together if you wish to do so. Another thing is that the extendable parts of the rear arms were slightly oily. I guess they do that to lubricate it so that the arms extend smoothly. Still, it's not desirable of the possibility to have oil smudged onto your laptop.

I still love this product and I'm glad I purchased it. Don't let the minor issues keep you from buying a nice helpful accessory. I just love to nitpick, that's all.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Light weight and folds to a small unit that fits in backpack. Holds computer with little or no slipping. Everybody that has seen it wants one.

Cons: Have none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: -Small and simple
-Easy to store
-Solidly built
-Adjustable in every logical way
-Allows for MUCH better airflow under a laptop, resulting in significant reduction in operation temps - Under heavy load for extended time periods, my GPU temps were hitting 90 C in my HP DV7 laptop and causing some throttling lag in games... Sitting on this stand, the highest I've seen it hit was only about 85 C (after extended periods of heavy load in a high ambient temp) and is usually only about 81-82 C during long periods of load. Throttling lag is gone too.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Obviously, if you are buying this for cooling reasons, the amount of cooling will be dependent upon how your specific computer is built and where your fans and vents are, but since this stand is so simple with such small contact points with your computer, the airflow under your laptop will be greatly improved versus just sitting on a table.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Simple, easy to store, and makes my Gateway 7811 FX nice and cool, while giving a nice incline to typing/viewing the monitor. Feel very durable.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This is a great little product!

5 out of 5 eggsWay more value than expected

Pros: 1. Sleek design and High build quality
2. Folds up amazingly small
3. Ergonomic design makes a big difference
4. Very customizable to fit any laptop (fits my 14.1" widescreen perfectly with a lot of room for other sizes)
5. No fans - (a)Completely silent (b)Does not use laptop to power fans thereby causing heat (c)Long life expectancy
6. Effectively decreases the heat and internal fan noise of my notebook.
7. Can even use on your lap relatively comfortably

Cons: 1. Little pricey but buy it, it is worth it!
2. Nothing else to speak of

Other Thoughts: I initially though of buying a fan cooling system but this is sooo much better.

1. Ok, yes it is a little expensive (especially with shipping! darn you newegg), but you will never have to replace this thing because no moving parts.
2. Think simple, no fans, no power, no cords, small design.
3. Much better than any cheap plastic or aluminum fan based cooling system.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple concept but works!!

Pros: It's so simple to use and folds up for easy storage in a laptop bag. Small enough to support my aging smaller VAIO PCG-V505DC2 or can extend outward for my larger 17" Mac Book Pro.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I normally keep my laptops sitting on top of the 4 high points of the stand and not just the rear two. It allows for more airflow underneath.
