The Asus V-70 CPU cooler packs a lot of cooling into a very small, affordable package. With four sealed 6mm copper heat tubes drawing high temperatures away from the CPU to be dissipated by the densely packed cooling fins, the heat sink is only 8mm wider than the 92mm, 4200 RPM fan mounted on the top.
The entire assembly retains a low profile for easy access and few, if any, conflicts with other components. The fan provides an incredible 80CFM of airflow over the cooler and the motherboard to ensure reliable, stable computing. The computer can control the speed of the fan using PWM control which lowers the speed of the fan for quieter, off-peak computing.
The V-70 easily mounts onto the motherboard using spring screws and its light weight of only 14.7 ounces (420g) prevents stress upon the board. It is compatible with Intel Quad- and Duo-Core processors including Core 2 Extreme, Pentium and Pentium D Dual Core and other LGA775 socket processors.
