Step up from that stock cooling fan and heatsink to the Hyper TX series CPU cooler from Cooler Master. It's made of a dense array of aluminum fins on a copper base and three heat pipes, for superb heat dissipation. It installs in minutes and is specially designed for use with LGA 775 Socket processors, including Intel's newest dual-core 65-watt Conroe family of CPUs.
The side-mounted, long-life bearing, 92mm fan is fitted with special blades and has a frame design allowing it to create the airflow of a larger fan in less space. The heatsink also has a fitted cover on it to direct air to cool other surrounding components. It spins as low as 650rpm, creating only 16dBA of additional system noise. A pulse-width modulation (PWM) control can be used to automatically adjust fan speed up to 1,800rpm according to the demands placed on the CPU.
