COOLER MASTER Intel Core i7 compatible V10 Hybrid TEC RR-B2P-UV10-GP 120mm CPU Cooler

Pros: It worked, and it stayed working for as long as i've had it since mid 2009. But the temps were never really that good. Even from the get go the temps were just good enough for my i7 920 @ 3.5.

Cons: Really not as good as I thought specially for the price I paid at the time and specially the price now when there are so many better coolers out there.

Other Thoughts: It was dependable no issues there. But for the price just not worth it imo. I just got a h100, and everything is running much cooler and at a faster OC for the same price.

Even though it lasted, kept things moderately cool, I could not and would not recommend this cooler to anybody.

Pros: This V10 also cools the memory cards lowered the temp 15 C and the cpu 25C

Cons: Need a box at least 20 inches in length. worked in the case I bought it for barely. I should have paid more attention to those details on this purchase

Other Thoughts: Highly reccommend this for cpu and memory cooling

Pros: You thought Fonzie was cool? Install this heatsink with cessna props on your CPU and watch your computer turn into a refridgerator, just as effective as most water cooling systems.

Cons: Big. No issues with RAM clearance. I have GSKILL Ripjaw series RAM, and it clears by a good half inch. Just make sure you install all of your ram before hand, you won't be installing any after you put this fan in.

Other Thoughts: "It was big. Really, really big. No, bigger than that. Even bigger. Keep going. More. No, more. Look, we're talking krackens and dreadnaughts for jewelry. It was BIG!"

Pros: None whatsoever.

Cons: After more than 2 years of ownership I can state without any hesitation that this product is complete junk. At 9 months the fans failed which was due to dust (even though I regularly use compressed air to keep the computer clean). I found out in the end that this is a very common problem with this unit. I contacted the company and spent 4 months going back and forth with e-mails until they finally agreed to replace the unit. When I received the unit back the fans would still not function. What is possibly even worse is that I found out early on that the TEC unit only activates after the temperature reaches 70 degrees C.
That's 158 degrees Fahrenheit. This was verified by many different tests by many labs online and the results are still available. Also, even when the TEC unit activates this product does not provide cooling close to that of many other units. CPU coolers have advanced considerably since this unit was introduced. Buyer beware!!!

Other Thoughts: This company (Cooler Master) is VERY unprofessional and it became clear that they continued to send unhelpful e-mails for months hoping that I would just give up. I didn't. After checking the net I found other cases similar to my own concerning this product. Caveat Emptor !!!

Pros: AWESOME COOLER!!! Easy install for my first build, AMD FX 8150 and 4X4GB Corsair Vengeance LP. Enabled Quiet & Cool feature of Asus Crosshair Formula V keep CPU at 32°f while also keeping RAM cool.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This CPU cooler is not for the faint hearted, the installation requires you to do your homework before purchasing. Make sure you know the dimensions of your tower, and RAM.

Pros: Cooler works great. Keeps a 920 cool all day at 4.0 GHZ
Solid construction

Cons: TEC is useless. Doesn't ever work right
Unless your case like mine has the back mounts for your CPU exposed on your cases otherside, you'll have to remove the Mobo for installing it.

Other Thoughts: If the TEC fails for you or is useless, unplug the fans from the Controller and just plug them straight into the mobo. then it'll work fine. There's many ways to do it, mine had two cpu fan connectors and allowed me to fine tune the PWM to temperature needs, so thats what i did.

Pros: WOW!!!!! LIGHTENING fast shipping, shipped yesterday and received today..This cooler is amazing, I read some bad reviews but went on with the purchase and 100% happy with it.. My idle temps were 40-52*C with my stocker cooler, I installed this bad boy and BAM! 22-27*C !!!!! AMAZING and under load I haven't seen anything above 40*C, i'm amazed at how cool it's keeping my CPU
I couldn't have asked for a better cooler, I live in vegas so my room temps are anything BUT cool. It's about 83*F in my room. I highly!!! Recommend this cooler

Other Thoughts: Mmmm I had some cossiar vengence memory, pretty sure i had clearance but the springs on the cooler were making this scratchy noise so i thought it was my ram up against it but i don't think it was, so I removed the case but hey.... this coolers a beast, totally worth it

Cons: This thing is HUGE. I read all the reviews and couldn't find one that said how big this thing actually is. Everyone says its huge so I looked in my case and thought that I could move my video and sound card down and it should fit. WRONG. I run a ASUS Crossfire V ROG and if I was to install this on my CPU I would have zero room for anything else. This thing is about 5 inches tall, 5 inches wide and ALMOST A FOOT LONG. When people said you better have a full tower they weren't kidding. If you have anything but a full tower this will not leave room for anything else. I would have loved to have put this in my maching just to see it light up and how loud it is but it just wasn't worth it. Sadly, I have to RMA this thing for no other reason other than it is just way too big.

Pros: Excellent Cooler, looks great with led fans, keeps my Zeon W3680 cool all the time.

Cons: Very Large, make sure you have room.

Pros: I have this system for 3 years and never had problems before so I had AMD Phenom II X4 Black Editon and idle cpu temp was 32c at full load 52c now I have AMD FX-8150 and 37c idle cpu temp is at full load 63c this new cpu work very hot and you see the temp is not bad

Cons: The downside of this system is consumes a lot of energy 50w to 200w and is big very big

Other Thoughts: if you buy this system I recommend you have a very big case and a good power supply of 1100w to 1300w
