3 out of 5 eggsLemon? - Very Loud Bearing

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Massive Airflow, Nice sleeved power cable, Nice LED lighting that illuminate the fan blades.

Cons: I must have gotten a Lemon because this thing is ridiculously loud. And I'm not talking the noise from the airflow. I currently use this fan as my rear exhaust fan and the bearing seems to be making this awful humming noise that i can hear through my sound canceling headphones. As long as i keep music or game volume high enough it cannot be heard. I bought this fan Because of a JayTwoCents review on youtube but his sounded nothing like mine!

Other Thoughts: LED lighting could be brighter

5 out of 5 eggsJETFLO!

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves some air!!! I put six of these in my case and couldn't be happier. They are all controlled by a fan controller and kept at 40% on a heat curve. My cpu usually stays under 30c a less stressing.

Cons: Had to drill some of the case fan mounts out because of the massive screws these beasts come with. Not a big deal for me but keep in mind that they may not screw right into all case mounting points. If not for those big screws your fan may just fly through your case like a rocket! These things are that powerful!

Other Thoughts: These are they only fans worth their salt IMO

1 out of 5 eggsHit or miss

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: The one I received that didn't have the bearing issue, aside from the defective LEDs, seems to work extremely well.

Cons: Received two duds. One with extremely dim LEDs and the other with a bearing issue.

Other Thoughts: Tried to RMA but CM didn't want to cover shipping for their defective products. They told me I had to sign up on their website to be a "fanzone" member before they would do anything and then stopped all communication and refused to help me via email/phone. You would think they'd want to get their hands on theses items for quality assurance reasons but this is clearly not one of their concerns.

I'll just gs/rf two more and it'll cost CM even more money. Definitely not picking up the tab on these.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: If you need airflow then this fan is certainly up to the job. Its absolutely bananas how much air this fan can move. Just this fan alone in my case can overpower all 6 of my intake fans (4 corsair sp120's running through a 240mm radiator in push pull and 1 200mm fan pulling in through the somewhat obstructed front grill)
I turn the jetflo 120 up all the way and my case goes well into negative pressure.

I like the LEDs mounted in the hub. It makes the blades look like one solid disc of light. Really well done guys.

Cons: The elephant in the room when it comes to this fan is the noise... The noise this fan makes at full rpm is absolutely horrific. I was one of those people who said to myself when I bought this fan "Whatever! I don't care about noise!" This fan totally changed my tune. That being said as long as you don't plan on running it at full rpm (The folks at Cooler Master are nice enough to include voltage reducers) then you will be totally fine.

Another slight gripe I had was when mine came the label was off balance on the hub and was generating a lot of vibration. I simply removed it which solved the problem as well as showing the cool looking motor through the clear hub (a bonus imo).

Other Thoughts: Overall guys this fan has been fantastic! As long as you don't mind having an angry wind spirit living inside your computer case. Buy It! But for the sake of everyone around you, put it on a fan controller or one of the reducers they give you.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Great price with the rebate, when I get it. Very high air volume. Good built-in mounting pads and big special screws.

Cons: Only that the mounting corners are raised a little too much, can not fit air-tight with standard gasket (Silverstone), there is a large gap all around.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat air flow, but loud!

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Very good airflow.

Cons: Even with the silent mode adapters it is fairly loud. there are other brands on the market that have similar air flow that produce less noise. I will be removing it in favor of another brand, but will keep it as a backup if that fan goes bad.

Other Thoughts: if noise isn't a worry, this is an excellent choice. For me, its a concern. if you like this brand, several others are much more quiet. The Sickleflo by cooler master, is very quiet even though it doesn't push as much air.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Great fan, but can be loud depending on where you mount. Luckily this is solved with the included voltage reducers that are included.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsso much noise

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: they can move some air. and the white leds coming from the bearing looks really nice. makes the blades look like one solid disk

Cons: if you go anywhere near 1200 rpm it makes to much noise to handle. every time the 2 i bought for my h75 get up in speed i think something is wrong with my pc or something is hitting them but its just the fans in general making this offal sound.

Other Thoughts: i couldnt take it. i had to take them out went and bought a corsair af120 and a corsair sp120 to replace them. just way to much noise. hoping the corsair ones are better.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

It is odd that both fans would make an awful sound to the point to where you had to return them. In the future, if you ever experience issues like this, you can reach us via live chat, ticket, and phone.

The phone number is (888) 624-5099

You can start a live chat and or submit a ticket through the Cooler Master Fanzone site at account.coolermaster.com

Sincerely,

5 out of 5 eggsThat CFM

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Solid built fans, The black area you see around the screw holes is a soft rubber coating over what feels like an aluminum frame. LED has a great glow. Comes with 2 noise reducers. they work awesome. Move lots of air and the cables are nicely sleeved.

Cons: Without the noise adapter they are very loud. I installed 2 on my EVO Hyper 212. The screws that came with the clips did not let the fan clip on top and bottom, they button head just gets in the way. I was able to fix this by getting some contersunk screws with flat heads, they are 10-32 screws. I got some at a local hardware store. Get the shortest ones they got.

Other Thoughts: I had 4 of them installed on my case, without the noise adapters it sounded like my PS3 when iwas playing too much Battlefield, almost like a jet trying to take off. After installing the adapters the noise reduction is significant. There are 2 sets of adapters, one 28dBA 1,600RPM adapter and one 19dBA 1,200RPM adapter. I installed the 1600RPM ones and it is much better, dont think i will need the others.

3 out of 5 eggseh

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm White LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: It's a PWM fan, and it looks nice.

Cons: LOUD LOUD LOUD.

Other Thoughts: This fan makes a high pitched whine at lower RPMs. I have it installed on a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, and the non-standard mounting screws preclude using the rubber pads that isolate the cooler from the fan. Otherwise, it works fine and looks nice. I'll probably look to replace it with something that fits the cooler better, and relegate it to case fan duty, where its built in rubber isolating mounts can be put to good use.
