Good fans
- Pros: Good little fans. I've been soldering these into IDE drive cages and external hard drive enclosures with failed fans for a bit over a year. So far none of them have failed. The noise increase is negligible and they provide great cooling.
- Cons: Not free
Good but not Great
- Pros: It runs like it is said. 7,000 RPM. Pushes enough air to cool down my northbridge ten degrees. Cheap. Not sure how reliable it only being a day. Packaging was simple, just a bubble wrap envelope.
- Cons: Non really. Its cheap so don't expect so much. There was slight vibration. Not quiet but not exactly loud.
Piece of C***
- Pros: moves air....
- Cons: I bought this to cool my northbridge heatsink on the EVGA Classified, in the Antec 1200 case and it is LOUD. My case was running 2, 60mm fans ; 6, 120mm fans ; and 1, 200mm fan. Couldn't understand why it was so darn loud, pulled the plug on this fan... and the noice level dropped like a rock. I swear this one 40mm fan made more noise than the other 9 in my case.
- Other Thoughts: Wasn't worth a refund at this price, tore it up and threw it away.
