4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: * Moves Air
* Inexpensive

Cons: * A little loud
* Only has four pin molex connector

Other Thoughts: Purchased based on comments saying that the Habey EMC-600BL case needs some sort of fan. This one fits, moves air and does the job. Hopefully it won't wipe out its bearings right away. We shall see.

2 out of 5 eggsi would pass on this one

Pros: it moves air

Cons: used it to replace the dying fan in our surround system, put it in and it actually makes more noise than the old one, kinda more of a growly grumble than the screaching one that was in it but i guess thats what i get for getting a cheap one,
it hasnt gotten louder though so i guess thats good

Other Thoughts: if you are looking for a quiet 50mm fan look elsewhere

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Cost
Easy install (standard sizing and hookup)
Fairly quiet

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Extended the life of a network backup HDD that might have otherwise been tossed out. We'll see if it hangs in there or not. It's in a pretty clean area.

3 out of 5 eggsNeeds some thinking

Pros: good & powerful little fan for mini cases

Cons: may be the manufacturer need to think that molex has to be removed and provide with a 3/4 pin connectivity. can't compromise a HDD for a fan - in my set up!

5 out of 5 eggsI bought these to mod a WRT54G

Pros: I bought 4 of these.2 are installed as I have 2 WRT54G's.
2 are backups in case of a fan failure.Held in place with 4 zip strips, and a resistor soldered in line to knock the voltage down to 5V.

Cons: None, except the price of shipping for such a small product.
Wait and order something else with it to save some on shipping.

3 out of 5 eggsQuestionable reliablility

Pros: Moves a good amount of air for such a small fan. Ball bearing.

Cons: Not reliable. I bought 8 of these to replace the stock fans on my four hard drive coolers. Tested them all before swapping out the old ones. Checked them all again once in the case. All worked. Few weeks ago I was blowing the dust out and I checked the fans again. One had failed already. Fortunately I had kept the old fans, but if I wanted to use those, would I have bothered ordering these?

Other Thoughts: Although I could return for a replacement the cost in shipping doesn't justify it. If you plan to get some of these, order a few extra. They're cheap enough.

Also if you plan to use them for the same purpose I did, pick up some #6-32 x 5/8" flathead machine screws w/ bolts from the hardware store. They fit perfectly. :)
