5 out of 5 eggsAnother Great Fan

Pros: I know fans and i know this is another Killer Fan that will not Die on you. Have been using several of these for years - about 5 years so far without a hiccup. Never have seen such performance except by the Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L.
Neither fan has given up the Ghost in any application yet and these are in a more Harsh environment.
Super Quite and just flat out reliable with the Hydro Dynamic Bearing.
Need a Darn Good Fan - Step up to the plate and get one of these and you will not be disappointed.
Comes with Rubber mounting feet and a adapter that you can utilize if needed. Still place these in a harsh environment and they just keep on Blowing you off.

Cons: What Cons?

Other Thoughts: Could buy one get one Free for long time customers - that would be nice.

5 out of 5 eggsworks as advertised

Pros: works as advertised, fairly quiet but not super quiet

Cons: no physical speed control (by varistor), but that is a mild criticism

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Extremely quiet for it's size.
Small size for HTPCs.
3pin or Molex power adapters.
Adjustable rheostat control.

Cons: Air-flow is a little less than I'd like.
Completely stops when turned below 40%. (See other thoughts on this though)

Other Thoughts: If all you need is a little backup cooling for a HTPC, then this is a good fan. It'll fit into a small case.
Even at 100% speed (somewhere around 1600RPM I think) I could barely hear it so it's fine to crank it & leave it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth every cent

Pros: As others have said, this thing emits nothing but a whisper, one of the best fan designs I have seen. It also looks really nice if it happens to be visible.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsAmazingly quiet

Pros: It IS as thermaltake claims!!
Quiet!!!! I have tried many 80mm fans for older computer cases. This one is by far the quietest hands down. You can adjust the speed so that it is silent or at max speed where you can hear it but it's acceptable...NO WHINING!!!
It can be connected either to the MOBO or to the PSU. It is adjustable speed either way. I bought 2 to cool the raid hard drives. You can fasten it either with rubber grommets or with screws

Cons: The only issue that I can find is the connecting wire is a bit short if the 3 pin connector on the MOBO is too far from the fan ....but can be lengthened with the enclosed molex adapter where you will have to connect it to a PSU cable. Not available with LED's,but I don't care.

Other Thoughts: a BIT PRICEY but worth it if you really need a quiet 80mm fan.
I never say this to any manufacturer but I am saying it now:

THANKYOU THERMALTAKE!!!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazingly quiet

Pros: Excellent air flow to noise ratio
Basically silently even on full speed.

Cons: None that I can come up with

Other Thoughts: Bought this to use as a replacement CPU fan. The old fan was ridiculously loud and not moving all that much air. Temps decreased by a few degrees F much to my surprise given how quiet the fan is. While I wouldn't recommend it as a CPU for any gaming computer, it can do the job for a low-end system.

5 out of 5 eggsideal

Pros: I wanted a relatively quiet 80mm fan. Although I run them at full speed they are plenty quiet.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: These feature a little speed control potentiometer on the wires. It can be a little cumbersome to get it in a good position when installing in tight spaces. I've always has success with this brand and this fan is no exception.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Shipped and delivered quick(arrived before estimated delivery date). I purchased 5 of these to swap out an older case where 120mm is not an option, haven't even bothered to run at anything but 100% because they're so much quieter than my old fans.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice to be able to bump it up to a higher RPM.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best

Pros: VERY QUIET! I run this at 100% rpm for a HDD enclosure. The fan is blowing out directly at me & is inaudible. Absolutely cannot hear it above other fans. I've spent a lot of money on quiet fans.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Like I said the fan is blowing directly at me so I can put my hand in front of it & tell that it pushes a lot of air. I own scythe, cougar, coolermaster, etc. this one ranks right up there with any of them
