4 out of 5 eggsTiny holes, Slow Leaks

Pros: Enabled temp decrease of about 20oC from stock air fan. Looks great in case. Small footprint. very quiet.

Cons: Developed small leaks in the radiator ribs. Coolant leaked out slowly and crystallized. Noticed after a year of using when I was cleaning my system and fans. Removal of the crystalline deposit revealed 3 tiny pinholes in ribs. Since it was 4 months out of warranty I decided to epoxy it. Hope it holds up.

Other Thoughts: Wish I had checked before the warranty was up. Maybe leak had started and I just didn't notice.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: None

Cons: Never fit very well, radiator clogs and has given me nothing but trouble.

Other Thoughts: Never buying anything from Thermaltake again. I was better off using my stock heat sink.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked really well, until it died.

Pros: Easy to install, very quiet, low vibration, kept cpu extrememly cool.

Cons: About 6 months after the 1 year warranty expired, the pump stopped working. My BIOS warned me that the CPU fan was no longer working. To its credit, the heatsink did do a good job of keeping the cpu below 50°C under normal load for a while. Playing games, however, caused temperatures to peak around 78°C which is a little warm for my tastes.

Other Thoughts: Installation on my ASUS Sabertooth z77 was pretty easy. The hardest part was figuring out which holes on the brace to use and to fit the fans/radiator into my Raidmax Smilodon case. It ran really quietly and only had to clear dust from the radiator fins a couple of times. Overall a great product, I just wish it lasted longer.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy and Effective

Pros: Took my AMD FX-8150 from about 30-35C(86-95F) down to 15-20C(59-68F) idle. This cooler is very simple and has a great effect. At 4Ghz, hosting 2 minecraft servers, and running 3 other games on ultra (Arma3 beta, Skyrim, Crysis2), the temperature never exceeded 50C(122F). this was done in 43.3C (110F) heat.
Price is low, especially if you get it on sale

Cons: The hoses, water cooler, and fans do take up a bit of room. make sure you have room in your system.
The cooler really doesn't take up much room compared to other prebuilt cooling systems. not worth taking off an egg.

Other Thoughts: The cooler gets the job done and then some. Be sure you have room for the cooler and hoses. if your using a full ATX tower, you should have more than enough room, even most mid atx towers should have sufficient room.
All and all... I would buy it again

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU cooler!

Pros: Great water cooler. I've had this product for 10 months now and it's still going strong without any issues. I'm very impressed with this product cooling capabilities. With "Artic Silver 5" thermal paste, I currently have my i5 3570K overclocked to 4.5Ghz with temps around 27 Celsius idle, and 65 Celsius under prime 95 load. I would say the best part is looking into your case and seeing all your sexy components instead of a huge lump of medal.

Cons: none yet :)

Other Thoughts: System Specs:

CPU Cooler - Thermaltake WATER2.0 Performer Closed-Loop All In One
Motherboard - ASRock Z75 Pro3 LGA 1155

5 out of 5 eggsTHERMALTAKE WATER2.0 PERFORMER

Pros: This Performer series level of TT Water2.0 closed loop liquid CPU cooler was my first water cooling device. I had limited expectations mostly due to the fact that it was the lowest cost model. The price and after sale and MIR made it a must try...price was its first pro at the time. Was astounded at how easily it installed, despite lacking and confusing instructions. lucky i do not use instructions much so they worked well for me. The 2fan set up is super quiet can not hear it in my CM HAF922 most of the time. It covers an FX8120 which tends to run hot at my 4.1gz OC; but it keeps it well within operating temps just about all the time Under all of my daily uses for this computer, this Performer keeps my CPU well within operating temps and does it quietly. It has a very good warranty as well, though that did not go into my choice to buy this particular unit. I ran the Performer on my FX8120 for a week at stock timing and the operating temps at idle and under load stayed within, well within acceptable limits.Load temps vary with relationship to ambient temps and seem to be more noticeable on the 8120chip but this was adequate to keep it running well no brown outs or shutdowns due to heat.

Cons: On my Gigabyte GA990FXA UD3 and FX8120 @4.1gz I was able to shut down the chip due to heat under load in P95 after 10mins. Room Temps were 76° at that time. I believe I would need a larger radiator on this chip, otherwise the cooler exceeded my expectations. I would, however , get the extreme level or pro, that is with this set up. I believe this board tends to be hot though i have the HAF922 with fans where ever possible it is warmer than my 890FXA UD5 which is not suited for the chip, which is also a hot runner. I think the mounting hardware could be better, the way the nuts fit on the back of the mount plate are supposed to stay stationary, they do not, they spin and there are better systems in use for similar devices made from the reference models. this is rather easy , though, for the most part. the pictures and instructions could be better they can be confusing for some.

Other Thoughts: I have used this ThermalTake Water2.0 Performer level liquid cooler for 9 months or closer to a year without any troubles or problems. It has been able to handle just about all of the work i have put in front of it as far as cooling an AMD FX8120BE overclocked to 4.0gz in a GA 990FXA UD3 (AM3+) board. I have overclocked to 4.2gz with this chip but the cooler is not good under loads at that speed. at 3.9gz it works 99% of the time and i have only had a couple of issues this summer when there has been a 'heat wave' where i live, would be anywhere over 90° daily and inside room temps have been closer to 80° many times the computer is running. The efficiency of this goes down as ambient temps head to and over 80° If i had it to do over, i would get the model with the larger, 240mm radiator. I have 2fans/push pull set up blowing outward. i have set up the radiator with the hoses at the bottom and on the side. They both work about the same , though i keep them on the bottom since i perceive a slightly better capacity, though i can not prove it in the couple of tests i have run. I do not want to do extensive tests just to find out if i can get a couple of degrees one way or the other. Plus, i have read that they should be on the bottom. dont know if that is fact or not. I have not encountered any real issues with this since the installation. I had a couple with the mounting hardware, but they were not large problems as i noted above. It runs quietly and smoothly all day through video conversions ,watching a movie and surfing the Internet on 2 or 3 monitors (Sapphire7950OC) I feel this is worth 5eggs even though i would prefer to get a level up in radiator size. It is fully capable of handling ,even this hot 8120chip in stock mode in all areas. may lack on intensive games for long times. I play FarCry3 and Sleeping Dogs with settings on highest for most things, if not all ,not sure how much of a stress that can be on the cooler, but it holds up,for what it is worth. I can highly recommend this cooler for most people with most chips, there are the larger relatives for more intense users

4 out of 5 eggsGood Performance

Pros: Good performance if you are not going to do heavy overclocking. Very quiet fans when enabling fan control in bios if motherboard allows.

Cons: Can't really keep up with a stock AMD 6800K when running prime 95, Intelburntest, etc. as the chip throttles when temps get to high. To be honest its a 4.1-4.4GHz turbo chip to begin with.

Other Thoughts: It also didn't fit in my case (my fault) even though it is set up for water cooling, so take care to check the dimensions before purchasing.

2 out of 5 eggsWhy did I pay money for this?

Pros: I am running a intel core i7 920. The only difference is that my load temps dropped 10 degrees but wow. At least it looks nice in my case though

Cons: Well my idle temps have not dropped at all from my air cooler. at stock frequency and I am idling around 30 degrees.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend to anyone who is using LGA 1366 or LGA 2011, any of the cpus with a higher wattage because this cooler isn't made for them.
