Great
- Pros: Quick and easy install on my old 7900 GT. I got it since the card would idle around between 60-65c. Now idles around 40c. The card is in my other PC which isn't my main now so I haven't tested it at full load, but I can only assume the temp has dropped considerably.
- Cons: None.

Works great
- Pros: Installed very easily on my ATI 9800 All-In-Wonder video card.
Comes with a variable speed dial.
Everything needed was there, including some aluminum heatsinks for the RAM. Nice touch!
It looks like it has mounting holes for just about any video card.
- Cons: If I want to be picky, I guess that I would have liked to have the fan speed set by a thermal sensor. It would be nice if it ramped up automaticaly based on the temperature of the GPU. But, I found a medium setting that seems to keep it nice and cool while keeping it quiet also.
A little overpriced at 40 bucks, maybe? For me, it was worth it becasue I love my ATI 9800 AIW card.
- Other Thoughts: The stock HSF on my video card was really noisy. Now I have a very quiet home theater PC!
I had to clip one of the six aluminum mounting arms to make it work because the TV tuner module on the video card was in the way. Not really a problem unless I want to use this unit for a different video card in the future.
I did not use the supplied thermal compound (I used arctic silver instead).
Fantastic
- Pros: Cooled my HD3870 OC down cosiderably. Installation was a breeze taking less than 10 minutes.
- Cons: Came with a 3 pin fan connector while my card uses a 4. This means I had to plug the fan into the mobo, preventing me from being able to change fan settings through my card's software controller. Granted, I should have read the specs more closely beforehand.
- Other Thoughts: With the stock cooler my card was getting up into the 80's C during heavy gaming (yes, I know that seems obscenely high but it's true). After installing the Zalman my temps never get above the low 50's, idling at around 40 celsius. By the way, the fan comes with an optional manual fan control knob. At the lowest setting the fan is almost inaudible. In addition, the blue L.E.D. is understated and not overbearingly bright. I would highly recommed this cooler.
