5 out of 5 eggsJust great

Pros: Simply 'Good' and 'Cool'.

Cooling very well! That is all I need.

Cons: Little noise with full speed. But it is better than damaging CPU. :)

Other Thoughts: The cooler was much bigger than I thought. But it can fit into my ATX tower without issue.

5 out of 5 eggs6 months in

Pros: This cooler for one is just such a beautiful looking one thanks Zalman.
Ive had this cooler for 6 months now and it seems to be doing just great. You can set the rpm range through your bios so if auto doesnt cool things down enough for you manual setting will do the trick. Keeps my fx 8120 @4.0Ghz at 42-44 degrees celcius underload in crossfire 7950's in eyefinity so im happy.

Cons: Led could be much briter

Other Thoughts: Def would recomend this to people in the market for a awesome cooler at a good price.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: has worked fine for more than 8 months now. no sign of failure in sight.
keeps my core i5 2500. right at a nice cool 46c even when the fan has been collecting dust for a month.
its very easy to clean out with compressed air.. other heatsink designs require you to remove the heatsink or fan to clean them.. not this one.

Cons: green led could be a bit brighter.

5 out of 5 eggsMaybe... Too large

Pros: Keeps my i5 3550k nice n cool, and is pretty quiet my whole computer(sans the optical drive) is drowned out my ambient noises. Comes with brackets for nearly all socket types and assembly + instructions are easy.

Cons: Heatsink blocks one or two of the mounting screws after you get it in place. Making it almost impossible to install it unless the motherboard is out of the case(lfmf).

Other Thoughts: Instructions say to use all the included thermal paste, but its really way too much at least it was for my CPU. Also even with a CPU cutout on the case it was a pain to mount while MoBo was inside the case.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb cooling!

Pros: This cooler does a fantastic job. Cooling an AMD FX 8150 8-core which draws 125W it maintains a processor temperature at most ten degrees above chassis temperature and often much less. Right now it has been running at 37 degees Celsius for over a day while under heavy load. I have never seen the temp go above 42 and that only briefly before the BIOS kicked the fan speed up. The fan is also reasonably quiet even at speed and it is normally much quieter than the chassis fans, particularly if you have several. On a mid-size tower the Zalman cooler is just the right height so the cooler's exhaust blows directly towards the rear chassis exhaust fan. Highly recommended.

Cons: Compared with the one that comes with the CPU from AMD it is very tall and wide. It might be a problem with a small chassis but a mid-size tower handles it just fine. Installation can be a bit of a struggle as you have to push down pretty hard to get the top & bottom parts of the screws connected through the MB but persevere and it all fits. I found it helpful to put a small support under the MB to keep the threaded parts you screw into up high enough. The effort is well worth the result.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: The fins feel solid, I like that. It fit well in my Lian Li Mid Tower. My i7 Sandy Bridge hangs around 29° Celsius. It fit on my Asus P8H77 Mobo. It is quiet. I never need the fan to go over 25% speed.

Cons: It was missing one of the rubber things that holds the nut to the back plate. Not a big deal. The installation was involved but didn't require any significant force so I had no fear of damaging my board.

Other Thoughts: There is a green light on the fan. I don't have a window on my case and I really want it to not light up. Being inside the case, this light isn't a problem, but I may consider cutting the led like I did to a case fan.

4 out of 5 eggsSWEET!

Pros: Very nice heatsink and fits nicely even with ram sticks with heatshields. Seems to perform well but not OCed yet. The way this baby sets on the board still allows one to get to all the other goodies on the mobo. NICE!

Cons: Not really a con but the brackets for the AMD don't seem to have quite enough bend profile. Meaning, I had to really press and flex the brackets to get the bolts to thread into the base mounts.

Other Thoughts: Needs brighter LEDS.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing cooler -30c under max load, haven't even turned on half my case fans, yet

Cons: The mounting hardware was kind of a pain to put in, but at least the supplied tool is slightly magnetic

Other Thoughts: I don't see how people can't understand the directions, it's in 4 different languages with pretty pictures and all. First time installing an aftermarket cooler, took my about 10 minutes total because I lost the double sided tape piece, almost threw it out in the packing peanuts from newegg
